Guest guest
Heres' what I wrote. You could say something similar, saying you are part of a large group of women suffering from your implants (instead of heading the group). The most important part is requesting that he schedule the hearing for the bill. Thanks Daryl! Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: ~*Patty*~ banderson@... Sent: Monday, March 17, 2003 8:58 AM Subject: AB50 Dear Assemblyman , I am writing to ask you to schedule a hearing for the bill AB50, which deals with the silicone issue. As one who was harmed by breast implants, and received no fair chance to be heard in a court of law because of the controversy surrounding this issue, I believe it is only right that the statute of limitations be lifted temporarily. The controversy continues to this day, as there are still efforts being made to research the damage done to women who have received silicone in its various implantable form. I head a large internet based support group, and I hear from women nearly every day who are ill, and the range of time they have had implants is widely varied. However, their symptoms are not. It will continue, and what we ask for is the chance to be heard. Please schedule the hearing for this bill.
