Leave it to the media to put a negative spin on how she is taking care of herself!

Pam's life-and-death gambleTuesday March 11, 2003

Pam is risking her life by turning to unproven treatments to beat potentially fatal hepatitis C.

Standard treatment with the drug Interferon can cause harsh side effects including depression, flu-like symptoms and hair loss -- and Pam desperately wants to avoid these as she plans her future with fiancé© Kid Rock.

"Pam's vanity could prove to be fatal in the long run," revealed a close friend. "She's desperate to get rid of the disease because she wants to have children with Kid Rock.

"Everybody's telling her regular medicine is the best bet -- but so far she's not listening."

The former "Baywatch" star keeps in great condition, and the disease, still in its early stages, has not affected her fabulous good looks.

But the virus could ravage her if she shuns the recommended medical care.

"I'm treating myself alternatively," Pam recently revealed. "Everything from homeopathic doctors to osteopaths to oxygen therapy."

Pam says she's also taking milk thistle -- an herb purchased at health food stores, which is used as a liver cleanser.

The ENQUIRER spoke with several experts, who are not treating 35-year-old Pam, and all of them warned about nontraditional therapy.

"I don't know of any experts in the field who would recommend herbal forms of treatment," Dr. Jean-Pierre Raufman, a professor of medicine and chief of gastroenterology at the University of land, told The ENQUIRER.

"The bottom line is that there are no scientific studies that show these substances are effective in the treatment of hepatitis C -- and some of those things can work against prescribed drugs."

I would guess that she never really removed them completely, to me I

would guess that she got them out the first time cause they were

really leaking or something went wrong but I think she had new ones

put in at that time, I have no idea if they are saline or silicone

but either way I think she looks like a freak. She is really tiny too

so to have those boobs make her look ridiculous. She must have had

them made bigger again though because to me they look even bigger

every time I see her.

Which articles, Kim? I missed them. But I do know that we talked a bit on our group about Pam removing her silicone gel because they leaked, and she had them replaced with saline, although I don't think her publicists would admit it. Then they seemed to get bigger and bigger....then she came up with this mysterious case of Hepatitis? Sounded fishy to me. There was another implanted celebrity, Naomi Judd, who quit touring a long time ago because of her ill health...another case of Hepatitis? I know one other implanted lady who had hepatitis, I don't know how much of it is coincidence, but I do believe that the publicists of these implanted ladies won't talk much about implant related problems. It would hurt careers too much. Denial in Hollywood is rampant. h Carey, Whitney Houston, these gals seem to me messed up after implants, too.

I am reminded of Dr. Pierre Blais's comment at the FDA meetings in Washington DC in March 2000. He worked for the Canadian government in a capacity that would be similar to the FDA, and he said that women implanted with any kind of implant used up FOUR TIMES as much health care resources than an age adjusted individual without implants. I think there is alot going on that we just don't hear about.

Oh yes we have disgussed this before, how many actresses and models

tv stars etc that we think are fine with implants and when we look

just a bit closer you can see the signs that there are problems

there. I noticed with h Carey she used to be just the tiniest

thing, cute too, she was so teeny. Then boom she had these boobs, it

was right around the time I got mine and I remember thinking oh man

look she got some too. She denies that though, just like I did to

most people ha! Anyhow then she goes and has like this total

breakdown on MTV on one of the live shows, then she is in the papers

too about it, she does not look at good anymore, to me at least, she

has the bloated look. I think that there are many others like that

too, Look at Griffith she looks bad these days, I mean these

are people with money who can get professional help to look good too.

They won't ever admit this is the implants, they may not even want to

believe it themselves, can you see how they would feel? I remember at

one point thinking I would keep the implants and learn to live with

illness's and almost did that too, but my husband wanted a healthy

wife, he did not seem to thrilled to marry me with me keeping the

implants, he was wanting them gone. I finally came to the point that

it was not worth it, but if I was a big famous sex symbol and my

breasts made me money, what would I have done? I might have gone on

all the wonderful narcotics the Dr's are offereing up for pain and

just lead that life ya know. I mean when your in the limelight and

have money being ill is probably easier to deal with, you can take

time off to rest, have massages, people to cook and clean and cater

to you while you sleep and suffer with flare ups. For me I had to do

things for myself, I could not have people cater to me, so I had to

get better, for some this is probably the path they chose rather than

to give up the boobs. I think that it is pretty sad but this is the

reality we are dealing with. I don't look too much at any of these

women and compare them to me, because the fact is that there are some

of them getting the implants out, but even those few don't want to

admit it was illness. They might just say they did not like them or

they were leaking, but none of them want to admit illness, it would

hurt there careers too much or there image. I know I don't want my

illness known to anyone but those close to me, also because so many

people don't believe it either, it is frustrating when people don't

believe in something that is so real to you. I get very hurt by

people's disbelief.

Anyhow that is my feeling as well.
