Guest guest
hey girl! good to hera from you. thank you for yur kind words! Yes I am ALWAYS starving . I can eat and eat, and don't really gain weight, maybe a few pds here and there. And the only excersice I am able to do is walking. The hair thing is BAD, as you know. I used to get the racing heart beat everyday for like one year, but now I RARELY get that, and it lasts a day or two. I don't know. I am so stumped and just feel like they re missing something. But what I do not know. BUT on the other hand I was alway very skinny my whole life. I am SO thankful I did not get really heavy from this illness. I mean with all these other symptoms and the hair thing it would be even more of a major bummmer. Plus I look so much olderr than I used to. I SO miss my old muscular body.!! You know, you saw the pictures of me! YIKES it looks pretty scary now. Oh well..My health has improved and I have come a long ways, so this is good news!!! I don't know of any natural stuff you can take for thyroid. BUT maybe someone else here can help you. I will keep you posted If I find a dr. who finds something wrong. I just feel my hair loss has an underlying problme that has not be fixed..ok girl..be well and do KEEP IN TOUCH!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Dimonds, Lucky you that you haven't gained any weight! I actually did not gain any weight the first few years of my illness and after explant. It was only in the last year that I gained weight and it has been a real struggle at times to lose those 10-15 lbs. I was down to 125 in October, but I am at 135 again so I am back to losing those same 10 lbs. I hope you stay skinny! And I do hope you get back to working out. I just started a work out routine lifting weights, and it feels great! I am starting to make that time for my body, for working out, and I found the one thing I needed to do to make it work for me was to change my mindset and realize that I am in competition against my own body, and I need to win! Otherwise, time and age will win and I will be fat. There are some natural thyroid supplements available....bladderwrack is an herb that is thryoid supportive, and here is a link to another product that I have heard raves about: http://www.greenwillowtree.com/tides/Search.bok?category=thyroid Keep writing! I'm always looking for your letters!
