Guest guest
How I wish I had found this web site and others like it 16 months ago. I am 46 years old and mother of 3. I was in great shape, worked out with a personal trainer for 11 years. But because my body fat was so low my boobs, where just skin. (Not bad in a push up bra). But I was getting remarried and I thought it would be nice to have firm boobs. So I had saline, smooth shell implants put in. I recovered very quickly from the surcery, and everything seemed fine. Until strange things started happening. The first thing I noticed was that I was losing a lot of hair, than my eye sight changed. chalked these things up to stress and age. Than I started having heel pain, which spread. I could hardly walk in the mornings. I went to the foot doctor who shot my heels with cordisone and told me I have planters faschitics (spelled wrong). Than I started having back pain where my kidney is on the right side. Had tests done they found blood in my urine but said it was and infection. This pain came back 3 or 4 times in the last year. Than about 8 weeks ago the pain was really bad and I had terriable joint pain in my albows, and I was always tried. I deceided to go to the doctor. He set up an appointment for me to have my kidney tested by injecting dye into it. and told me he thought I had RA. My kidney test came out normal, just couldn't explain the blood. I was set to make an appointment with a RA doctor. And a Light went off in my head. I have always be very healthly, what change. I've been sick since I got married. It couldn't be my new husband. ? Implants.............. I got on the internet and learn about women that had alot of the same systoms I was having. I called my ps and told him I wanted them removed now. The next week they were removed. Recovery went really well. My joint pain was really bad the secound week, but by the thrid week it was completely gone.I felt great for about two weeks when all of a sudden the pain was back. I am not tried any more and after 4 weeks, my hair has stoped falling out. The joint pain comes and goes I'll be good for a week and have pain for 3 to 4 days. My feet have really improved. I don't cry in the mornings any more because of the pain. I was wondering if foods or wines could make systoms worse. I noticed that if I have red wine the joint pain gets worse. or chew sugarless gum. Oh I forgot to mention that in the last year I have gained 30 pounds. Nothing I have tried has help me lose any weight I just keep gaining. Could this be because of the implants. Any help on recovery would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
