Well, add me to this list of 5 foot 7 inch babes in the 140 range! How weird, though, that we are all different sizes. I have always been a size 6, and it is a tight 6 at 140, and a loose 6 at 125. I do think I have small bones, though. I am currently about 138 lbs, and feel best at about 123-125. All my younger adult life I weighed about 120. I weighed 125 last October, and after the holidays and when my parents and whole family came to visit in March and we hit practically every buffet in town and ate our brains out, I gained weight and hit 140, so I am very frustrated right now at having to lose this same 15 lbs again! and I have been kinda dieting together, and I am not doing as good as her right now! Our family went camping over the holiday and well, I gained after eating a few too many s'mores! ha ha ha oh well, what's new? What makes me crazy is the idea that I will have to fight this for the rest of my life now, and I never used to have to worry about what I ate, ever! Argh!

Anyway, , you scare me with all this working out you are doing and not losing anything! I am just getting ready to hit a workout class on June 2, as well as a Pilates class. I have hopes of getting back to 125 by July sometime. Gosh, girl, and you sound like you are in good shape, too! I hope we can all figure it out together and get to where we want to be.....keep us posted on your progress with the thyroid issues, and Daryl, maybe you can join me at the class? It would be awesome for all of us to hit our weight goals together. , you definitely will have to come down here and celebrate with us!

Daryl, babe we are about the same size. I am 5 foot 7 and also weigh around the same, I am 145 pounds too! I dont look bad, still look good in shorts, and am pretty firm and muscular, from all the work outs-I just have this inch of fat over everything!Like a womanlly layer! And thats working out every day! He He- I always was between 115-125 pounds, and looked my best I think at 125, size 8. Now I'm a 11 tightly and hate it! Wow ,that is so weird we both have a little boy, both are the same size, both had them for such a long time, and we are unfortunatly states away! At least we arent both 200 pounds, huh?

Patty, Dont be scared, I am sure you will lose weight in your pilates class,I think there are other issues at hand with me, like sex hormones ,resistance, or adrenals. Good luck, and keep me posted.

A plastic surgeon told me that he believes that, after surgery, the body naturally releases chemicals that gives it a bounce back . . . And that when these chemical wear off, there is a slump for a while.

When I was really feeling bad, I went through a round of Predisone . . . the bounce it gave me was what provided me with hope that my body sitll had the capacity for feeling good. That memory got me though many a bad day!

I don't remember bouncing when my implants were removed because I went immediately into high gear (attended AutoCAD class 8 hours a day for a month) . . . Running in that gear was enough to tire me so I didn't notice a bounce. . . One of the other students was a psychologist . . . he definitely noticed my concentration problems! Recommended A book on "Attention Deficit in Adults" and Ritalin.
