Guest guest
Jan, Go to the files section and we have listed there a letter that you should send to your pathologist or what questions you should ask about having them taken care of afterwards. I know if you want to have any hope of legal action, you need to make sure the implants are properly sealed and stored. Some women have them sent to Dr. Pierre Blais for analysis, and he stores them. That is where mine are. Here is the link for the letter: http://members.tripod.com/jeena3/explantletter.htm? ----- Original Message ----- From: dogsbrkn Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 9:01 PM Subject: Dr.Lee Hi ,Just read your note you are going to Dr. Lee on the 27th. I lucked out and have an appointment with him this Monday for preop/consult. I will fly down and return home that night and then get the explant surgery the following week. Maybe you and I can moan together... Best of luck. Also, does anyone know what you do with the implants, do you keep them (yuck!) or just have the doctor examine and write up a report on them? Mine are McGhans, so I know the settlement for them is over but just wondered what I do with the ugly buggers once they are out. Thanks! Guest guest
Patty, Thanks for the info on that letter, I will find out who Dr.Lee uses for a pathologist today and get that letter mailed out to them. Have you heard anything about siliconomas? I have a lump my dermatogolist is going to remove and she is not sure of what it is. She does not think it is a melamoma but I am just wondering if anyone knows about these siliconomas, are they lumps of exiting silicone??!! Take care and thanks again.
