Guest guest
I really do encourage you to all put a book together. Women need to hear your stories. Things are so quiet about saline implants, I, too, thought they were without complications. My doctor told me the only reason women get them out is to get bigger ones put in!!!! Please, tell your stories so that our daughters will not have to suffer the way so many of you did!!!!!!!!!
Guest guest
I just got back from the book store (Borders) and could not find one book about saline or silcone problems. Not one. Patty I did find the book Betrayed on line to order (Thank you), but you would think that there would be at least one book in the stores. I know as a group of women we could put a book together. Guest guest
I think that it is a shame that more famous women will not share their implant nightmare stories with the public, because those are the stories that allot of people will listen to and take notice. I know that there are sick women who are famous, or in some ways more public than us, and if they were to speak up I feel that more would listen. I do believe that we all can help to make a difference, but it also seems that the public in general does not really want to hear from us. , ltrn449@a... wrote: > I really do encourage you to all put a book together. Guest guest
: I've heard of a few complain about implants but not many. I dont think everyone gets sick, only those who have a compromise immue system to begin with. Honestly, I think the movie stars or tv stars who get sick from them or who already are will say so. They have no problem talking about other personal issues from drug habits to molestation just to get media coverage. >From: "naturalbeauty38" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Went to book store >Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 23:27:32 -0000 > >I think that it is a shame that more famous women will not share >their implant nightmare stories with the public, because those are >the stories that allot of people will listen to and take notice. Guest guest
Vickie, Sorry I don't agree with this. You missed one very important aspect of this where stars are concerned. Their public revelations of problems with drugs, criminal charges, etc, DOES give them publicity which furthers their careers in most cases, and makes others money. However, discussions of implant problems hurts large corporations, plastic surgeons, and there are lots and lots of people in Hollywood who have a stake in women getting breast implants. Anything that kills the golden goose will want to be silenced, you can bet on that. ----- Original Message ----- From: Vickie Sent: Thursday, June 19, 2003 8:29 AM Subject: Re: Re: Went to book store : I've heard of a few complain about implants but not many. Guest guest
Excuse me, I have to put my words in on this one. I did not ever have a compromised immune system, ever.I got them at a healthy, and beautiful age of 20. I was a health nut, work out every day, and still do. I am 28 years old, and if it were truely just my,"compromised immune system"-then that same system wouldnt have gotten better whether I explanted or not. I would not have changed dramatically from explant. The Rhuematoid Arthritis that I was diagnosed with at the ridiculous age of 26, almost 6 years after having them, went almost completly in remission. My thyroid disease that I was told I had at the same time I was diagnoses with RA- has got so much better, the docs are stunned.(HELLO?) Im talking a week after explant, I have proof on labs showing, my antibodies improving at a fast rate. Coming down by the thousands. Not to mention the way I feel. All the docs asked me, does any one in your family have auto immune illnesses or thyroid? NO! If I had a "compromised immune system" I would have been ill often in my life, never was-or it would have been much quicker that I would hav gotten ill from them, not almost 7 years later. Realy it was the infected capsules than ran all the way down my rib cage, around my faulty implants that were contaminated with fungas, viral, and dangerous bacterial infections It took over 6 and a half hours to get them out. As they were so nasty, so embedded. Dr Kolb was shocked. Not to mention the infections I have been dealing with since then- like ( rare mycoplasma) that made me so deathly ill. If you would have seen them, you would NEVER say that it was anyones "system." You should see them now, even after being cleaned off, they are full of blue smelly mold. Many actresses arent going to admit they have auto immune illnesses from implants, as it is an insurance risk to hire them, only to be so ill later into a making of a film, they no longer can work, and the company loses out millions. And no one would believe them, after the milions spent in advertising to make implanted ill women look like they are crazy. We would be, except for one thing: We all have almost all have the same wierd symptoms, and hello- they all magially disapear or go away after we get rid of the infected bags of toxins. The Goverment wouldnt allow people to live in houses made of the same ingredients that are in our implants, yet we can have them placed in our chests, called safe for now. Furthermore, people make me feel crazy about how I feel vacinations are terribly dangerous, and are making our children ill, most unable to even tolerate pollen. Studies prove this. Its too many, on such delicate systems> ihad a total of 8 before kindergarten, Tyler will have over 25 shots. But you know what? Its the same with the implants issue. They dont know the truth, they are blinded by years of "so called Studies" and its what every body does. They have no clue- the FDA after so many years of people complaining and bringing lawsuits re: a certain widley used vaccination by all children right now: of suddenly autistic children after vaccination, or "sids" cases nights after these shots, and studies proving that these shots have 3 times the amount of Mercury in one shot, than what human adult consumation be in one year! Finally, the goverment gave the manufacturer 7 years to get the mercury out, and come up with a new shot, or it will be pulled off the market. So, in the mean time, all these unfortunate children will be given this shot, that is LINKED to cause autism, link to behavioral problems like ADD,ADHD, and Touretts. As well as chilhood diabetes, allergies, asthma, and skin conditions. What will people do in the meantime? Get the vaccinations, poison their children as they have no clue, doctors dont tell you unless you ask, and are taking a huge risk to have these safe vaccinations, until the real "safe" ones are out . You have to be your own advocate, and get many people to fight large companies to change things, and until that happens decades later, it is too late for many people. Just like those diet medications- Phen Phen- they were so safe, yet never approved, and many died. I dont care how crazy I am, I think people are crazy not to notice all the clariton, and allergy meds ourselfs, as well as uur children are given everyday, like no big deal-as well as all the behavior disorders on the rise 30% in the last 10 years. I had one asthmatic kid in my 3rd grade class, I ll never forget her. My girlfriend is a 2nd grade teacher, and has 10 out 21 . I dont care what they tell me. If I believe them now blindly, my son will be given a shot that will be announced "recalled" in a few years, how crazy is that? Its all about big bucks, that the FDA helps to approve for sale, unless so much of an uprise is made public, they have no other recourse to "study" more, and possibly pull off markets. That takes alot of time. And time is lives, Just like with implants. Years from now, women will hear the true dangers, and it will be too late for many. nna >Date: Thu, 19 Jun 2003 08:41:30 -0700 > >Vickie, >Sorry I don't agree with this. Guest guest
I'm sorry that you feel the way you do about me, Vickie. I try to be non-judgemental on this site and give everyone an opportunity to air their views. I encourage a high level of participation, and am always please to hear from all the group members who want to write. I know I am not always right about everything, sheesh, nobody is! I don't think I ever stated that I think I am always right, either. I do have opinions too, though, and guess I try to back up my opinions with either facts or logical conclusions. But, the bottom line is I guess nobody knows the answer to this for sure, do they? >
Guest guest
Patty: I dont feel anyway about you. It's just before I spend three times the money to take the implants out than I did to put them in...I want proof that they are what is making me tired. I know sooooo many people who have them and they are not sick. I'm not going to argue with them and tell them they are just in denial. I cant back that up. I dont think anyone can. If women can have implants and not be sick from them, I think that is great! I like mine and want to keep them. They are not uncomfortable or noticable when I move or exercise (like most women on here have posted theirs were) and I have a hard time believing that every ache, sneeze, pain...whatever...I have stems from these. Maybe I am in denial, but that is why I am here. I want proof, not opinions. Who has that? >From: "Patty" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Went to book store >Date: Thu, 19 Jun 2003 19:42:12 -0000 > >I'm sorry that you feel the way you do about me, Vickie. Guest guest
Ok here's my 2 bits. The proof is in the pudding or should we say gel. If the scientific reports claim that the nurses who were to handle the implants and give them to the doctors during implantation were told to " wash hands after handling, because the silicone could have small particles on the outside " , what is that all about?! Go ahead and put them in your patient but be sure to wash your hands??!! Even Dr. Lee that I just saw said if you take the implants and set them on a dark paper for a period of time, when you move them they will leave small particles behind. I don't need any more said ...These can not be safe for human bodies, I call them " Weapons of massive destruction " Buyer be ware! For me, the sooner they are out,the sooner I will get better. jan >
Guest guest
That makes no sense to me since the nurses are wearing gloves. I dont see how the particles can get on their skin with gloves on. >From: "dogsbrkn" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Went to book store >Date: Thu, 19 Jun 2003 21:45:17 -0000 > >Ok here's my 2 bits. Guest guest
> Hang on and I will find the report I read that in. It might have been from the late 60's when implants first came out and gloves were not stressed back then. I will get back to you. Guest guest
The proof is in the women like me, , and others who had blood work that improved after removal. The proof is also in women like me, and others who have gotten their health back and now live a normal life again after being so sick we wanted to die. I can't give you proof other than that, Vickie. I doubt that you are going to find what you are looking for, because the medical field finds it very hard to validate anything we have to say. For almost all of us, our implant experience has brought us to a higher level of awareness of our own bodies, a higher awareness of the value of our intuition, a spiritual awakening or renewal that confirms we are beautiful creations of the Almighty, and a deepening appreciation for the health we were given while at the same time filling us with compassion for the sick. This has been MY experience, at least, and all the proof I needed was that God gave me peace and filled me with faith as I got better. I can't speak for anyone else, you'll have to ask them about the "proof" that brought them to this same spot. But I know it was a long hard road, and I made it, and I have no doubt that it WAS the implants that took me to that pit of hell
Guest guest
Have you read all the studies in the files section? /files/ Have you looked at the links? /links You are sure to find some "proof" there.
Guest guest
Vickie, There is never going to be 100% proof positive that your implants are making you sick. So if that is what your looking for then you may as well give up now and save yourself the trouble. If you want to be proactive in your health over the long term removal is a wise decision, but since it sounds like you want to keep the implants then you may as well just do that since your never ever going to find 100% of anything ! I know I found my own truth and proof, but I was not being narrow minded. To me it just makes sense that having a foreign object made of plastic, silicone, and all the other disgusting chemicals found in implants could def cause some problems. For me getting them out has made all the difference in my health and I have the proof now to back this up as all my blood work is normal and my symptoms are gone. It is your decision however as to what you do with your body, and if the implants are that important to you that your willing to ignore or live with whatever symptoms your having now, then that is your choice. No one here can tell you what to do, or give you proof you will get better, or that your implants are the cause of your symtpoms. I don't believe that everyone with implants has illness right away and just like not everyone who smokes will die of lung cancer, not everyone with implants will get illness, but I still would not recomend smoking and I still would not recomend implants. I do firmly believe that most women with implants over time, some over many many years, will develop illness and they may or may not associate it with their implants. I do not know how many women you know with implants, or how long they have had them, but I don't think that all of them will have problems today or tomorrow just like all the smokers I know probably won't get lung cancer next week. If those smokers stop smoking now, they have a good chance of not ever getting it, and if you remove your implants now, your chances of getting an autoimmune disease will probably go down. If you keep them, and your having some symptoms now, then maybe a few years down the road you will end up with a full blown autoimmune disease. Who knows? If you are willing to accept that then I think that you have already made your decision. If you want to keep the implants that bad, that is your decision. I think we all know our bodies well enough to know that our symtoms were related to our implants. I believe we are all very educated on this issue and have done our homework over the last few years. If you don't want to believe us or take our advice that is your option and we wish you luck.
