Kathy,

This is excellent information, and I appreciate you sharing it for the benefit of dimonds and Daryl and anyone else going through this difficult experience. I know it has to be very disheartening. I hope they take advantage of the information you provided!

Thanks Kathy!

Patty

I would just like to add my experience. I have tried tea tree oil and found it very irritating. If someone already is experiencing irritation, it could very possibly make it worse. Here are 2 things that did help and I found both of them in a book written by dr. crook about yeast. Both of these helped me out of some bad situations!

First, try ORAL nystatin in a douche. Use one tsp oral nystatin powder in a quart of warm water. It is very gentle. I used it daily. and nothing else. the creams etc just burned me.

Also you can use boric acid. the powdered boric acid. Again, I think it is a tsp in a quart of water. Boric acid kills yeast. If someone is interested in trying this, make sure first of the dosage. Boric acid is a poison if swallowed, so you have to be careful. But used properly, again it was very gentle and brought relief and doesn't require aprescription.

Also, for people who have CHRONIC vaginal problems there is an excellent group called the VP FOUNDATION. stands for vulvar pain foundation. They have excellent suggestions and protocols tested by dr. to help with this very painful condition. I had this for more than 2 years and they basically saved mylife. Most of the people who have vulvar pain think they are just having chronic yeast infecitons when in fact, there body is reacting with pain and imflammation from other less defineable causes. I know the vp foundation has a website as well as a quarterly newsletter and a phone number you can call. If anyone wants more info, they can email me. take care

love, kathy
