I would like to order an adult large for my husband. The children and I all have one from camp. My husband was unable to go and we did not get him one. He would like one to wear for raising money. I am going to be doing the Joints in Motion for the arthritis foundation. I will be walking in honor of Buzz in Bermuda(Nov. 17). I have to raise $3,500. I know we can do it. I just think it is important for him to see that we are trying to do something to help him and everyone who is dealing with this disease.

Sorry for going on and on.

Good Luck with your fundraising, Amy. And with the Joints in Motion training program. It's definitely for a very good cause : )

Dear

I would expand what you have written above with as much date specific

detail as you can , print it and MAIL it to the teacher with copies to the

Principal, SUperintendent of Schools and whatever IEP person's supervisor.

Put it in writing, give your expected date for their response.

My thoughts and hopes for you and Sedona...... been there and remember

the nightmare only too well.

The urologist who measrued your testicles and said you had low T because you

testicles

were small, and then DIDN't investigate the HPTA makes me laugh...........

I know it's not funny for you but it just highlights the problem we are

having with these

stupid doctors.......

Hi all, We are trying to get J off of resperdal because of the Tardive Dsycanasyia (sp)? and the Dr. wants to try putting him on Seraquil because he said it has less side effects. Does anyone have any info on this? Good and Bad? Thank you, LoisLois Noland 240-420-3692Always in search for the "cure"

Hi Lois,

My son has been on very high dose of Seroquel for several years now. Our pdoc started with it instead of Risperidol because of the lower side effect profile which also included lesser problems with weight gain. did gain about 100 pounds in one years time (I know t hat sounds terrible) but he also grew a whole lot too. He is 6 feet tall and weights about 270 lbs. I think he would have been a big guy anyway --much of his weight is due to lack of physical activity!!! That's what he really needs. He is also on Topomax for seizure/spike disorder which is an antiseizure med but also has a side effect of weight loss. He lost a little weight initially but then seemed to gain it back. I really think that eating 's for lunch every day is certainly not helping either. Actually, I know it isnt , of course, but he asks for it and there are only a VERY few things that he really likes enough to ask for. Its too bad its food but I would hate for him to be without something that h e enjoys. The way I justify it is that the rest of the day he eats healthy choices. Its not like he eats it all day or doesn't eat anything else. I am trying to wean him off alittle though, by getting him less and perhaps going to every other day eventually.

If you want any more info on Seroquel, let me know
