Guest guest
I moved into this townhouse I'm living in right now one year ago. And over that year I've been getting to know a women who lives here. She walks out front a lot with her two precious little dogs. We stop to chat and play with the dogs on occasion. She is in her 50s. She's very nice. Turns out she too is from NY so we have some things in common. As our friendship has grown, she now comes over occasionally and just hangs out with me and/or we eat dinner. Also my son dog sits her dogs for her. She knows I've been ill and always tells me she prays for me. We ran into one another yesterday and I invited her over with her dogs. She wanted to share with me some info on detoxing and a book called "The Fat Flush Plan" by Ann Louise Gittleman, M.S. They came in and we ate and chatted. When she asked me if the docs know yet what is wrong with me, I told her I now know what is wrong with me. She asked what, and I told her "I have silicone poisoning." She said, "As in implants?" I said, yes, that I have breast implants. She said "Me too. But I have the safe saline ones." I could not believe it. I said, "Well, haven't you been suffering with fibromyalgia-type symptoms for years?" She said yes, and of course I asked her a ton of questions from there. She was implanted in 1987 with saline implants. I cannot believe they haven't popped yet. Only God knows what fungus may live within those things. Anyway, she has been suffering for years with what she describes as terrible chronic fatigue also depression....she tires easily and has very little energy. She had to go off work for years and go on disability and she has put on a lot of weight. She is currently on different meds, one of them being Prozac. She also suffers from knee pain. There is no reason for this woman to be ill like this. She's educated and has a nice well-paying career, owns her own home, is not in an abusive relationship, etc. I had her follow me upstairs to my office and sat her down in front of my computer with me and I pulled up some info for her to check out. I also pulled out hard copies of things I printed up like the contents of the implant bag, etc. She was in shock and listened intently. This is all so amazing to me. It seems that wherever I go these days and share my belief that my implants are making me ill, someone sits up and says, "Oh, I've got implants and I'm always ill too." Or "I know so-and-so and she's sick with symptoms just like you and docs don't know what is wrong with her and she has implants." It's like we are all a bunch of non-regulated lab rats scrambling through life unknowing until or unless we are fortunate enough to run into someone who is willing to share and enlighten and educate. First time in my life I'm glad to be a big mouth! Hee hee.
