The only thing I would wonder about this K is that you could up your

risk of getting a yeast problem, with the added antibitoics, and

yeast is already a major issue for women with implants.

Good questions, too bad there just aren't enough answers isn't it?

Well, that's pretty interesting , that you got sick right around the time that you had some major dental work done......hmmmm. At least you had a good enough p/s to suggest being careful about the dental work. I am really surprised at that! Maybe it is the dental field we need to be hitting next?

I always had great teeth, no cavities for years and years, so I only went in for cleanings every 6 months or so. I still have no major dental work, only had 4 cavities filled total in my mouth since a teen.

It was so odd, because I've never expected anything but good checkups and suddenly last year at a cleaning appt, they found 6 cavities in my mouth that needed to be filled! I was stunned. I hadn't changed a thing, and there was no forewarning, nothing, just bam! 6 cavities! It makes me wonder just what is going on in my body sometimes, and what the connection is. After implants, and knowing how the body is so interconnected and whole systems are affected, I always suspect implants first. They are, and were, after all, a foreign object that changed my whole life.

Patty I was actually told this by my PS when I got my implants, one thing he did tell me ha ha. My dentist told me it was not a big deal. I did have work done on my teeth right around the time I got sick. Never thought to much about it, I had a tooth ache and had to have it filled and ended up getting a cleaning too. But as far as I know I never had a local infection, or anything that was obvious. I never did take antibiotics either. Hmm?
