For those ladies suffereing in pain I am not embarassed to say I took

pain meds when I was hurting. I found that if I told the Dr I had

terrible pain and the only thing that worked was a narcotic they were

pretty easy to get. I took vicodin for about a year, but it was very

addictive for me, gave me energy though and made things better,

helped me get my life and keep it. Then I went off that and got on

Oxycontin, what an amazing drug. The drawbacks were constipation but

it worked well and only a small dose like 20 mg twice a day so it was

easy to get off it as well, not too many withdrawls. The opiates are

probably the safest ones to take other than addiction problems and

constipation because of the fact that they don't make you gain

weight, and the side effects are few. They are morphine derivitaves,

so I figure they are made from a plan ha ha, well the vicodin is

synthetic but it worked. Hey I guess when you are in too much pain to

move it is worth it. I know that Daryl takes the patches, the

fentanyl pathces, I have never tried them but hear good things about

these as well. Ladies if your suffering don't !

hugs
