Guest guest
Welcome This is a great group, because we're all a different stages of life and fitness, and help inspire each other. I think its because we are all individual that we have to find out what works for us, and I guess some are lucky to get highly visible results early on, but (I hope people agree on this) I think we all feel a lot better inside, whether it shows or not, thanks to Tae Bo. Whereabouts are you in the world? I got a strange time for your mail on my system, mind you after the problem with Ebony's recipe I'm suspicious of our network system! However I can relate to the people who say they have been exercising for a reasonable amount of time (3 or more months) and haven't lost much weight. Why is that? Every body is different and so, people see results at different rates. It depends on a million different things. As hard as it is, you just have to try not to compare yourself to others and cherish the results that you see within yourself. Sometimes, that means focusing on what's going on inside of you, rather than what's going on physically. How long have you been doing tae-bo? It may take some time, but hang in there....and I promise you, you'll see results

Guest guest
Elena, thank you for the information. Yeah, I hear ya, I am a sugar eater, big time! I don't eat cakes and pies, but I love hard candies and juicy fruit gum. I am definitely not near my ideal weight. I am only 5'6 and I weigh about 175 ( I gained about 6 llbs since I started taebo a month ago. I had a baby 3 years ago and have tried several yo yo diets. I guess I have somewhat messed up my system, causing me to easily gain weight. I have noticed a big change in my energy level which is good due to the crazy hours I work. My butt is moving toward the sky causing me clothes to get tighter and tighter. What is that? Guest guest
Hi , thanks for the welcome. Well, I started about 2 months ago with the basic. I stopped for about 2 weeks because I noticed my behind going south causing my clothes to fit tighter. Then my cousin gave me the advanced taped and I have been doing that 6 times a week for the last month for 30 mins. Because I haven't been able to finish it I just went back to the basic today and it was much easier for me. Oh yeah, I tried the 8 min workout and it just seems as though that can't possibly do anything for you because it's so short. I am a 29 year old mother of 1 3 year old son, married to a minister. I have 40 lbs that I must lose. Do you have any more advice? Guest guest
, thanks for the encouraging words. I have been doing taebo regularly for about a month. I have noticed 2 things. 1 is my energy level has shot to the roof . I am bouncing off of the walls. the other thing I've noticed is my rear going south of the border, causing my clothes to fit tighter. Oh yeah one more thing I have noticed is I have gained a few....Any more advice? I sure do need it....Nae Re: Vacation > Hey all, I'm new to the posts and I am finiding them to be very encouraging. > However, why is it that some people lose 20 inches in 3 months and some > don't lose any. If you dread your work-out time, you will not be sticking to it and these changes we all want take time. Do not be afraid to slow down the pace on the Advanced and to walk it out or do less reps or much slower reps or modify moves. An hour at a less fatiguing pace will not only be more effective but more fun.
