Daryl,

I am just ecstatic to hear your news about feeling better and having less pain! I know your pain issues were debilitating to you, and it was my hope and prayer that this would start improving for you, so this is the best news you could have told us. I can't wait for the day that you can say forget the duragesic patches forever! And you will have your life back, your husband will have his happy bride back, and Quinn will have his happy Mom forever. Daryl, this is such great news. Please keep up with coffee enemas and your supplements, I am so happy you are doing those. Be careful about the Advil....watch out for your liver, okay?

Let's start exercising together, okay? I'm in that class until the first or second week in July, but I am going to keep it up....if you want to join me there, or we can walk together, that would be great! I am still trying to lose my 10 lbs.

I pray also that you find God to be your source of strength and joy through all this Daryl. I am thankful you found this group, and I hope to be your spiritual friend through this, too, more than anything.

Love,

Patty

Hi-It's Daryl, remember me? I've gotten so behind on my E-mail that I'mscared to look at my computer! I'm so happy to see all the new names on thegroup. I've had terrible aches and pains for the last 4 yrs. and it hastruly ruined my life.I'm glad that I got my saline implants out.Every Dr. I saw told me that my implants were perfectly safe, and that Ihave fibromyalgia and I would have to deal with the pain for the rest of mylife.I have been on so much pain meds. that I sleep all day and I stilldon't feel well.I had my explant done 4 months ago and was very disappointed when I didn'tfeel any different after the surgery. I thought that I had made a bigmistake and spent our life saving for nothing (plus my body looked awfulwith all those scars!)but between talking with Patty and having this group,I got through the depression. Last Sunday, I took off my Duragesic patches(a very strong pain patch) to go swimming, and I didn't put it back on. I'vebeen wearing those patches every day for 3 yrs.! That is a huge deal forme!!!! Plus we have been paying $700 a month for them because the ins. willonly pay for 1/2.I'm still taking advil and vicodin. Also, as gross as this is to admit, those coffee enemas that Patty told me about really do work for pain. Istill am tired all the time but I'll take that over pain anyday. The fact isthat something has changed-I'm getting better! It's like a dream come true.I don't want to get too excited or I'll jinx it. This all started when Iturned 30 and I feel like I've aged so much since then. I am much angriernow and don't laugh anymore.I'm hoping to get that back someday.Have any of you that have improved felt any emotional changes in you or areyou still upset about the years that you lost because of your implants? I'dlike to be the same girl my husband met when I was 27. She seems like acompletely different person! Plus, because of all this depression, I've puton 20 lbs. so I really feel bad about myself. I need to start eating betterand exercising more.Anyway, I'm just checking in to say that explanting does work, at least itdid for me. I didn't know if it would or not but I had tried every thingelse. This was my last hope to get my life back. Love to all of you! Daryl
