Guest guest
Hi, . I just got off the phone with Dr. Kolb. We talked about how I can pay for my explantation surgery. She asked me to fax over my insurance exclusion page to her so I did. Within ten minutes (so awesome) she called me back and said she could get it approved for me no problem! , you have the same insurance I have, right, PPO Blue Cross. I told Dr. Kolb that I fully expect to be denied since you were denied (hope that's ok by you that I told her that) and she said there's no way you should have been denied. I guess there is a special code or something involved that she knows about. She said she used to do insurance work, i.e., approvals and denials of claims. Anyway, she said to me, " Well, it's too late since she already had the surgery. " I said you didn't yet, not until the end of the month. Maybe you should give her a call, . She said you have to get preapproval in order to get it covered and that afterwards it'll be too late. She can help you with that. Her number is 770 457-4428. I think I want her to do my surgery. She's so kind! She's going to talk to my new rheumy for me and inform her of breast implants and autoimmune disease. I hope she can get through to her.......so nice of her!
