Guest guest
Dang! That's pretty awesome! Hey, was I the only one who had a few cavities as a kid???? ha ha ha However, my pregnancies never took calcium out of my teeth, and I had four full term pregnancies. I always had good teeth as an adult. Hmmmm.....who knows? ----- Original Message ----- From: naturalbeauty38 Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2003 2:24 PM Subject: Re: Tooth decay ???????? Patty i never had a cavity till I was 18 years old. I only had until I was 28 and pregnant and then I had one in almost every tooth! Can you believe that. The dentist said my daughter stole all the calcium out of my bones and teeth. I have no idea if this is true but ever since then I have had trouble with my teeth and it was exacerbated with implants. I cannot blame the implants though as I had the issues before big time. I thought that I had finally gotten things under control after my last few visits turned up good but now this obvious decay is upsetting to say the least. I think my best option is to cap as many of my teeth as I can and then care for them really well. I use a sonic care toothbrush that I really like. Guest guest
Patty: It was a long process to find the proper balance between estrogen and progesterone...not to mention they added testosterone!!!! I had been estrogen dominate as well then all of a sudden I started having dryness, hot flashes, etc...My GYN sent the hormone test to Great Smokies Lab in North Carolina. Those tests seem to be more sensitive than the ones done locally. Now I use the Villa-dot patch and natural progesterone drops that are made by Women's International Pharmacy, by presciption only. >From: "*~Patty~*" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Re: Tooth decay ???????? >Date: Tue, 1 Jul 2003 13:29:36 -0700 > >Wow, that's a scary thought--especially with and her estrogen dominance symptoms! I actually did have my hormone levels checked out by my endo when I had my Hashimoto's diagnosed, and I think everything looked pretty normal. But I don't want to live with the dryness "down there", it is no fun. I have some estriol cream, but I am lousy at making sure I take everything like clockwork. Maybe I should give some of these hormonal things a good go and see if anything changes. I have the progesterone sublinguals, too. Once on the patch (lowest dose)...it cleared up. Could be worth having your hormone levels checked out. I know that thyroid problems can also lead to hormone def. since it is all tied in together. > > Vickie > > Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Get 2 months FREE*.
