Guest guest
Sounds like you are doing awesomely well Colleen! ----- Original Message ----- From: colleen bair Sent: Sunday, July 06, 2003 8:47 AM Subject: Re: Colleen , I had smooth saline, under the muscle. I did not have to have drains. I think that because I had gained so much weigth that when the ps took out the implants the fat filled the hole in. Was explanted in April and never had a problem with boobs. The ps did wrap me real tight for 4 days. In the 1920's they used to call this binding. Isn't it funny that now days women want big boobs, and in the 20's they were binding themselves to make them flat. I was implanted for 1 year 7 months. started getting symptoms right away, joint pain, visual disturbances foggy head , rheumatoid arthritis , fibromyalgia, connective tissue disorder, plantar fascittis, memory problems , night sweats, dibilitating fatigue , hair loss , thyroid trouble and kidney trouble. All my symptoms are gone...............except for the thyroid issue. I will be taking the adrenal stress profile test next week to figure out that. I have been on a detox program and it really has helped. I notice last night that I havn't even had any joint pain in the last couple of days. I am so amazed at how quickly without implants and detoxing and pray my body has healed. Hope this helps. Colleen
Guest guest
, You are correct about the need for drains. A proper explant is one that uses drains to filter out the fluid and more often than not fungus, bacteria, and silicone particles. I had my drains in for 8 days and I would not use any PS who doesn' t use them. I think Patty has said before that she did not have them and thinks she would have recovered faster if she had (correct me if I am wrong, Patty). Many PS who don't use them are not educated about our illnesses and don't think they are necessary. Take Care, Crystal
Guest guest
Crystal, You've got it right--I think drains are very important, and I think the doctors who really care about us and understand our illness know they are necessary. I did not have them, didn't know anything about them at the time of explant, even though I used a doctor who knew about the proper en bloc removal technique from the list of recommended surgeons. But after talking with Dr. Kolb about the need for drains, knowing that she and Dr. Feng always use them, and seeing Dr. Pierre Blais's reports, I am quite certain that my healing took way longer than it should have. (Over 4 years) I think I had some type of infection around my implants and in the capsules, as I had capsular contracture, I had hot, feverish breasts at one point, and it was shortly after that experience with the hot breasts that I became really, really sick. I can't help but think that all that bruising and swelling I had from explant was unnecessary, and whatever pathogenic crap was in me would have left alot faster, if only I had had drains. Guest guest
Cricket, you and your ideas, its me , giving credit where credit is due once again, I'm saving this article and would definately like to know how to get this stuff and the price. I know what you mean about stinking when toxins are in the body and coming out. similar to this is I use to wonder how come I got to really having bad BO the last year or so and it was because I was so toxic and pretty much figured. Now that I've been walking, sweating and drinking lots of water, my BO problem is hardly exsistent and I haven't even put on deoderant. I purposefully don't use deoderant when I go on a long walk so I can sweat out the toxins. that's my Mom's idea and she's a health (extra) nut. I'm sure I have a long way to go, expecially after I get these babies out. YES! Love, , Keep on keeping us informed of these great articless.cricket5641000 <cricket5641000@...> wrote: Well I went back to Dr. Brodsky and my blood looks ammazing. except now because of doing the blood tox some of my blood cells are looking a little bit like lemon.
