I have met a lot of people like you who say big Pharma isnt doing enough.

Or are saying that theres no money to be made in smaller studies.

FYI - There are 100 or so big Pharma companys, but there are thousands of smaller labs and colleges checking everything that you, or I can think of.

Where do you think the coffee enema came from?

Not big Pharma, thats for sure.

And the techs that work for big Pharma come from smaller backgrounds of study.

Dr Gerson presented his Therapy way back in the 1920's - pre-Penicillin, AntiBiotics, and virology.

Back then, liver disease was all one thing - liver disease - and no one had heard of HCV.

How then could anyone know back then that coffee enemas aids the liver?

They couldnt have - so it was snake oil or a guessing game.

There have been almost 100 years of medical advancements since then.

Since then also, without 'clinical proof', tons of people have been piggy-backing on his presentations, and making money off of his ideas.

If you want to have some fun, try looking up how much education a doctor in Germany had to have in 1920.

If you could pull a tooth or mend a horse - you were a doctor.

That kind of doctor wouldnt even rate a PA [Physicians asst] or RN today.

Yet you wish to trust these protocals?

I have no problem with that, but it does seem rather strange in my mind.

I am doing the opposite of you I think - I am learning what present modern medicine can offer, and working backwards to see what came before if need be.

I do study alternatives, and right now use some of them for my HCV.

But the info about the ones I am using, came from a lab someplace, not from some company that just wants to sell me stuff.

One of the things that I look for when researching is 'proof'.

Im not talking about a bunch of names and testimonials.

Real labratory 'proof'.

Without this, my research ends.

Please dont get mad at me.

Im just sharing some of my thoughts, and you did say that you wanted to keep this topic open for discussion.

Thanks again Don and Teri,I'll check out the sites you mentioned. Yes, obviously, Im not fond of current science as the end-all in treatment, and would suggest that stating that there is no cure for cancer is perhaps not quite true (considering the positive results from some patients of the Gerson Therapy, and others), but you are both right in suggesting caution, which I appreciate. So I will continue my regimen and die, if necessary! I will anyway, hahaha! I guess it was disingenuous of me to raise the subject when I already had my agenda in mind, huh? Sorry. Not fair! I'll try to not do that in the future.I just wish some substantive studies were done that could answer the questions so we really understood more. Course, there are a lot of studies that should be done, but there is no profit in the treatments, so Big Pharma can't make a buck. But I'll avoid that subject, I

promise, and just try to learn as I go along. So thanks for spending time researching and sending that along... All while I was washing clothes and doing my enemas! So what a gift to me!
