Vera,Considering you've had such a hard time with finding an anti-d and you've now found one that works, that's all you need to be concerned about..  that it works.  Everything we take is going to affect our liver.  Period.  But we can't forgo the medications we need to survive based on what they may or may not do to our liver.  If the prescribing doctor is aware of your hep c status, he is taking that into consideration...  Please, don't stress too much on prescription drugs that are a part of what you need to survive.  It's the extra drugs that we don't necessarily need that cause undue stress to our liver.  What we need it to process, we have to let it process.  Even though my hep c has been gone for years my doctor is still very aware of what he is prescribing for me.  I leave it in his hands.

I was wondering abt trileptal, it is a old mood stabilizer, after trying every anti'd out there for my depression, this is what I take at 7pm ~75mg. All the others made me feel more crazy, sides I could not handle, or most of the I would develop a allergic reaction in the form of rash. Trleptal has worked for me without allergy or bad sides, but I still am afraid of what it is doing to my liver. I also take hydromorphone 2mg in am. I hope I am doing the right things to live until a tx comes out that I can use without bad adverse reactions to, like going blind is what standard tx did to me after 9wks, tx was stopped immediatly. I have develpoed, degenrative spine, upper cervical bone spur that sits on a nerve, bad Fibromyalgia (pain thru-out my body)to the bone, I have frequent pain under rib cage, cryglobulimnia which I dare to read abt it scares me so, but, God willing life is pretty good, I am blessed with faith,. thankyou! everyone, we shall overcome! love, vera
