Guest guest
Hi Trudy I was at Walmarts last week, and you know I love those electric ride around carts that they have. I use them all the time because I cant walk very far, and its at least 500 miles across the store. Anyways, I was in the electronics section, near the clerks desk, and not paying attention, and WHAM. I ran into one of the shelf display thingys, and pushed it a good 3 feet, knocking some new stuff into the aisle. I had also hung the bumper up on the shelf, and couldnt back up and get free because the cart was jammed in high gear forward, and making a loud whining sound. LMAO - Talk about burning rubber. The clerk looked at me and said that it took 4 strong guys to move one of those shelf units when it was empty, and I had moved it when it was loaded with merchandise. I told him - 'Im gonna sue for whiplash'. What a mess, I was so embarrassed. Its a good thing my home health guy was with me, or I'd of gone to jail for sure. It was nice of the employees to go up front, and bring me a new cart to drive around, because the other one was wrecked but good. It took 3 of them to get it free, and to the back of the store. It was still running in high gear all the way....I could hear it. I guess that will teach them not to mess with don. LMAO :-) Im going to have to do that more often. That was kinda fun. Hey Im sorry you fell again. Those flatbed carts are dangerous. They can hurt you....hint, hint. love don in ks From: trudykinsey@... <trudykinsey@...>Subject: [ ] Wanna a good visual ??"Hcv" < >Date: Sunday, January 30, 2011, 4:41 PM I was at Walmart. A vender was stocking where I was looking . She had a kinda flat bed cart ( empty by this time) except it was a grid or frame only... not solid, open frame. I went to get a can of soup and at just that moment my left leg just buckled. I bumped into her cart. By now I was severly off balance, so there was no recovery. I ended up on the cart but each knee and both arms stuck in the frame work...I was embarresed of course. That was the kinda thing I do at home! Now both legs are bruised and sore and one arm from me trying to pull myself together before I ended up falling! Maybe I will shop at different walmart for a while! http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " "A well- behaved woman never made history"...Mae Westhttp://oktravels.wordpress.comhttp://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hey I hope you are okay. Next time use the little motor cart things. I had to use them after my hip surgery for a while and they are fun. Not easy to drive but fun.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: "trudykinsey@..." <trudykinsey@...>Sender: Date: Sun, 30 Jan 2011 14:41:45 -0800 (PST)Hcv< >Reply Subject: [ ] Wanna a good visual ?? Guest guest
Heck, I'm just afraid of the carts! The flatbed kind they use to stock. I am still bruised a lot and sore from one cart trying to make me it's lunch. I get a visual of the shark in Jaws when it tried to eat the boat. My walmart has sharks for carts!! LOL.http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " "A well- behaved woman never made history"...Mae Westhttp://oktravels.wordpress.com http://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx On Feb 8, 2011, at 11:27 PM, Cinder <datagrey@...> wrote: You know the isles to the left of frozen food and all those where they put seasonal cooking stuff.
