Guest guest
Steve, Dr. Cheney is the only doctor of 12+ I've seen who is working on treatments with the potential to significantly alleviate symptoms and is able to provide things that help on a day to day basis. I tried over 40 of Dr. Goldstein's drugs and built a tolerance to all about a dozen that helped. Neurontin is safe and beneficial. Ariciept causes severe stomach upset in a lot of people. Even some with Alzheimer's won't take it. Talwin and Nimodipine are two I built a tolerance to but began working again a year later if taken only occassionally. I take them during any trips or vacations. I would vary the doses of the Talwin to avoid this problem if your going to take it more than 1-2x a week. It may be one of only a few drugs that reduce your symptoms and you don't want to lose the benefits. Steve B. getting better > I do not know anything about getting better but I do know a few things about > dealing with flu like symptoms. Neurontin and Aricept are the drugs of > choice for me. Guest guest
Hi Lynn Yea.....! The esp really fixed up zooks too. Good report , so happy for you . I sprayed Bonide Mite-x on the box springs and mattress and washed all my bedding with Bio-Kleen laundry soap. I love this soap. It really makes the clothes feel clean. I bought some roach puff to put under all the furniture and between cushions. I sprinkle my throw rugs with Borax soap and will vacumm tomarrow. I got very crippled up from all this and had to take a Vicadin to releive the aweful pain. I am getting sleepy and hoping the room will be descently peaceful like the day has been. Today is the first time I have felt like dancing and singing. For the first time I have not had anything crawl into my bumm or vaginal or bite the surrounding area. > Another thing of interest I want to add is that when I got the esp soaps and spray and balm I had arms with white little circles all over my arms whare it looked like my skin color had vanished. Also I had many little red dots that almost looked like a cross between a blood blister or strawberry but smooth and perfectly round. Now after less than two months of use of esp products I have almost no red dots and even less white circles. When I went to the Old Walmart in Ceres and stood under the air vent I did not get any fire work pin pricks on my arm. I did notice all day other people whose arms looked like mine use to. Ummmm.....Makes me wonder. Good night all. I love you all and wish you a peace in the very near future from all this maddness. Now only to try and hang onto it. The rollor coaster for me is two steps forwards one step back. A very special thanks to one of the people here who had taken me under wing and guided me in areas that I was not able to overcome. > Also thank you all so very much for the hand holding and all the stuff I learned to get some immidiate relief while trying to figure this out. I do not know for sure if I am on my way to being healed yet, but what I have right now is pretty blissful. > In Light always Lynn >
Guest guest
Good for you. So many people are in the same boat you were in. If only they knew. God bless, >...> Since I've started taking Iodine, I have noticed a big difference in how I feel. It took a couple of months, but once I raised my dose to 37.5( Iodoral), I felt it. I also noticed I don't need to take as much Isocort for my adrenals now. I've also noticed the goiter I have (had) is almost gone. No more sore throat! The edema is mostly gone too. I feel like a new person. I've struggled with these symptoms and more for over 10 years. None of the doctors I have gone to have even come close to getting me better. But after @ 4 months of taking Iodine, I feel better than I have in years. > > Thanks again everyone. > > Robin >

Guest guest
Robin, I am curious to know what your experience has been taking Isocort and iodine? I am currently taking Isocort, but I am not noticing much of a difference, except perhaps in temps...and I will be starting Lugol's iodine soon... Guest guest
I have been on Isocort for a couple of years. My adrenals had tanked and it has taken a long time to get where I feel good! First, I ramped up to where I felt I needed the dosage to get moving again. And then as I've been feeling better, I've cut back on what I need to take. I do notice whenever I'm overactive, I might need an extra tablet or two. Stress dosing. When I first started taking Iodoral, I didn't notice any difference in how my body was reacting to it. I started with 1 tablet (12.5) for about a month to watch for any reactions. I'm maybe overly cautious. Once I moved to the 25 mg dose, I noticed that I would get hot flashes and sweat. It took a while for me to figure out that I was taking my first dose of Isocort and Iodoral at the same time. So I cut back 1 tablet at a time to where I wouldn't have the sweats and hot flashes. I split my Iodoral dose to 2x a day, at breakfast and between 1pm & 2pm. Now that I'm at 37.5 mg, I am still adjusting my Isocort. I don't have to take as much as I did, which is a plus. I want to get off Isocort eventually, but I know it will be a while down the road for that. I joined the group NaturalThyroidHealth when I first found out I was hypo. They were a great wealth of information for both the thyroid and adrenal issues. I did the temps too and it wasn't until I started on Iodoral that my temps really came up. I was stuck in the 96 range. Good luck Regan. Be persistant, don't always rely on drs., go with your gut instinct. Your body will tell you what it needs, you just have to learn how to read it. Educate yourself. Good luck. Robin > > Robin, > > I am curious to know what your experience has been taking Isocort and iodine? Guest guest
Trudy,Seeing it from this side of the monitor, I gotta agree, even your texts are more coherent and understandable, you've got a lot to be excited for!I know several of us keep harping on this, but take it easy! I made the same mistake, but you're not back to 110% six minutes after your last shot, lady...It's encouraging to see you start to bounce back.SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.
