Guest guest
Gloria,I am on week 2 of this crap. And I HATE it. Granted the first week was worse. I was pulling muscles from coughing, I couldn't eat, I did manage to keep fluids going, my throat was killer painful and the fever was horrible. We had a slight emergency here Saturday night with the dog and we were out sick in the cold but we needed to get meds for the puppy dog and I kinda shook it off for a day or so but the cough came back with a vengeance and today I could barely get out of my own way. I had my laptop in the bedroom for a bit and finally after Bruce had been at work a few hours I got up and cleaned a little... my pergo floor was looking like hell at the doorway in from wet feet! I musta had too many Mountain Dew's today cause I did a bunch. But now, I'm ready to just crawl in bed again. Take it easy Gloria.. this stuff is brutal. Lots of rest and fluids. Geez, I haven't been this sick since away back in 2009 and I was still on tx then. One thing I am learning is, how it might be if I get sick with my liver again. Guess I will have to learn to take my phone to my bedroom; but, usually I don't want to talk to anyone anyway.Anyway, have been feeling this way since I had my CT Scan on Monday. Guest guest
TeriDon't know where I am with this thing. Right now I'm up for a little longer than I have been; but, boy does my body ever want to go back to bed.The scary part for me, was when I was done with the CT Scan on Monday, I couldn't catch my breath coming out of the hospital. I knew then that I had to get one of my puffers. Now, I haven't used a puffer since probably last summer; but, it's scary when you can't catch that deep breath. Reminds me too much of what happened in the hospital in April. So, I've been laying really low! I've hardly got out of bed at all. Even the cat was getting lonely being down here all by herself, so he started to come up to the bed with the dog and I.The only good thing about this! I haven't had the desire and I sure haven't had many cigarettes since it started. Like an idiot, I light one up out of habit the moment I sit down here in front of the computer; but, I think I'm going to start using my little bottle of Chinese herbs and end that addiction now. Best time.Gloria Gloria,I am on week 2 of this crap. And I HATE it. Granted the first week was worse.
