Guest guest
Bek,First of all welcome. You have found a soft spot to land full of people who have walked with hep c or are currently walking with it. I personally went thru treatment for hep c in 2005-2006 and am now clear of the virus. What you are saying here is kind of confusing. I'm thinking you are not understanding your diagnosis. From what you are telling us, you were diagnosed with hep c 2 years ago but you have no detectable viral load. Is that correct? If that is the case, then you were exposed to hep c at one time and still have the antibody in your system (you always will) but your body was able to fight off the virus on it's own. Meaning, you do not have active hep c. Many people have an immune system that is capable of fighting this virus off on its own. Some of us, however, do not. For us, the virus does not go away on it's own. It takes years to diagnose it and usually by the time we find out we have hep c the damage to our liver is pretty extreme. What you are describing though is something totally different. You seem to have been exposed to hep c but are not dealing with an active case of hep c. Since there is no viral load, that means that there are no hep c clones circulating in your bloodstream. Hence, you do not have hep c. The supplements that Lloyd sells are to combat hep c. If you have spoken with Lloyd and told him that you have no viral load and he still sold you supplements than my opinion of him has just changed. You are buying supplements for a condition that it sounds like you don't have. No viral load means no virus present. You are throwing your money away. Snake Oil. Lloyd first and foremost is a salesman. Remember that. You say you have seen 16 doctors... in how long? Have you been with any one doctor long enough for them to break down each problem and work each one out individually? What kinds of doctors have you seen? It sounds like you need a good GP to start with and have him do a complete work up on you. Removing fillings is extreme and costly not to mention painful. I'd hate to see you do that if it is not necessary. I think your first step is to find a doctor locally that you like and you want to work with and one that wants to work with you. You have to give them time, no doctor is going to have all the answers on the first visit or two. Usually they will attack one or two problems at a time and they start with lab work. I hope this helps....Let me know if you have any questions on anything I have explained... or anything else for that matter....Teri On Sun, Feb 6, 2011 at 6:55 PM, pooderdog <pooderdog@...> wrote: Hi, I am new to this group. I can't find answers anywhere. I was diagnosed with Hep. C two years ago, then found that I had no detectable viral load. I have felt sick and hurt for so many years i have lost count. I also have Leaky Gut Syndrome, Fibromyalgia or muscle pain and joint pain. I also developed candida, heavy metal toxicity to lead, mercury, and cadmium. I also have some food allergies and mold allergy. I believe the Hep. C came first and then the other things developed but no dr. has ever told me this. No dr. has ever helped me out of 16 of them. I am wondering how to treat the problems i have if I have no viral load? I changed my diet to all non hormone, no antibiotic, and mostly organic veggies about 7 months ago. Nothing I have done has helped me feel better. I stretch and walk daily. I lead a non stressful life as much as possible. I don't know if the pain and the flu like sick feeling is due to the Hep. C antibody or is due to the LGS, FM, heavy metals, etc... No one is able to tell me. I don't know whether to keep eating the way i do or to remove my mercury fillings and go through oral DMSA chelation. OR do nothing and live like this the rest of the time i have. I am now 50 years old, and skinny since i have no appetite. I do eat, but do not eat fattening foods or junk. So when i eat it is always so healthy i don't gain weight. I weigh 123 lbs. at 5'7 " . Does anyone have any ideas what to do? I am desperate. I also feel exhausted all the time, esp. after exercise. My life is no good. I don't work, can't. Feel sick always, sleep well due to meds. I have tryed every supplement known to man. I have talked with Lloyd and read his book. Of course he just keeps wanting me to spend more money on his supplements. I can't. Thank you for listening. Totally tryed it all. Bek.
