If you want lots of snow for skiing come to Thunder Bay, ON, Canada.

We have snow up the yin-yang (not where you think FRED)

If you would like more info on my fair city, just ask.

Dear Amy OR Carol

You may have snow up to your Yin-Yang, but if you were an LP male, you

would get it up to your goolies in England!

Cheers

Fred with warm goolies .

Hi, Everyone..........Gail.....we got 2-3 inches of snow last night and it

wasn't even in the forecast!!! We're an hour south of Chicago and it was

lake effect off of Lake Michigan. Gareth sure enjoyed seeing it this am.

Take care, Everyone.

You lucky people! I'm sure by February I will have had my fill of shoveling

and scraping, but we are all VERY eager for the first few snowfalls. Did

Gareth run right out in it? I have been known to wake my kids at 4am to come

play in the first snowfall! LOL Enjoy for us Margaret.

OK all you people talking about snow-take this:

High today for us is mid 80's to low 90's breezy (very) and low humidity

(probably around10-15%)

Lows at night are a cool and comfortable 65!

Gotta love Vegas this time of year.

And when I want snow (in the winter), I can drive 45 minutes to Mt.

ton, play in snow where it is measured by the foot, and return to

dry, warm streets all within a 2 hour period.

LOL ! Are you bragging or complaining? LOL I love to be snowbound

here, as long as it is nice fresh, white snow and not the dirty, black snow

that usually lasts until spring! LOL Are you originally from Vegas ? I

know I would miss the seasons here. I live in the most beautiful part of

America! I wish everyone could see this valley I live in. Breathtaking!

It's rumored we may get snow this weekend. I have Fridays off work and with

the holidays lately, seems like I have more time off then I should, hehe!! I

am looking forward to being home alone with no kids this Friday. Knowing my

luck, we will have snow then :)

I have a pot of ham and bean soup on the stove and am finally getting around

to making cookies. is going on a ski trip with her boyfried for a few

days. She is spending the night with his family to meet them tonight. I

just hope and pray she does not break a leg skiing. She has a very weak

ankle as it is.

I've spent the last few weeks researching my geneology online. Last night I

finally made a breakthrough on my paternal grandfathers side!! There was

already alot on my moms side but nothing on my dads. I can trace many of my

roots back to the early 1500's..it's really kewl. Most of my roots originate

in Germany. I'm also eligible for the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The neatest thing (Ithink since I am a transplanted Virginian now) is that my

ancestors spent most of their time in Virginia. So I am now home :)

This very good news, Rick! I hope the recovery continues to progress as well

as it has so far for Jan. Her recovery has been one of the miracles of this

year!

I'm visiting in GA for the holidays and we have snow this morning! Not much

but enough! I'm glad I have a warm, snug place to watch it from!

Happy New Year to all! I hope this year brings nothing but joy, happiness

and good times to all of y'all.

Woke up today, not withstanding I almost killed myself with snowblowing on Tuesday and Monday, I looked out the door today 8 more inches! Now my side will act up again I suppose, I got heart palpations and the side where I injured myself hurt like hell the other day, went to bed at 7pm and didn;t eat at all, just hurt that badly, I wish the doctors could find the reason for this awful pain just below the ribs back toward the kidney area, it feels as if an adhesion is present and pulled whenever I try to do heavy work, it is crippling, I get an incredulous look when I go to the doctor I never get a proper work though, they like to theorize and guess,(only medicine is not a guessing game is it!,) it is soreness of the floating ribs, you must have pulled a muscle, any damn thing to cover their half assed diagnostic skills, they should live through this, when I get it I cannot stand and have to sit down or lay down, then it goes away, but returns time after time. How sage like the saying that doctors are people who failed veterinary school! Anne
