Hi Cockygal

Welcome to the Warriors group.

I am don in ks, 60, genotype 1B, labs near normal, no treatment yet.

I have a heart condition, so my doctors have me on hold for Conventional treatment.

Meanwhile I am using some Alternative protocals to try to slow the HCV down, and try to stay healthy.

As you may have noticed, there are folks here from all walks of life, and in every stage of the HCV experiance, worldwide.

Newbies, folks treating, post treatment [non-responders or cured], later stages, and those who dont want to treat for some reason.

There are those who are co-infected [HCV + HBV or HIV], parents of children with HCV, or caregivers.

Please feel free to join in on conversations, or add your own.

Everyone is welcome to share if they want to.

The only things we dont do is fight [because sick folks dont need that], and we try not to judge each others choices.

Mainly we each share our own HCV experiances and thoughts, Conventional and Alternative medical info, and we try to support each other.

But we might occasionally crack a joke, or complain about the weather.

Sometimes I talk about the aliens in my hair. LOL :-)

We believe that all knowledge is useful, and gives us the power to heal.

So Cockygal, please jump right in and tell us about you, if you feel like it.

We will be happy to know what you know, and share what we know in return.

Hello all.I am hesitant to send this post as I haven't been invited. However, I've been reading your posts and am so comforted by the fact that there are loving people supporting one another through this horrible sneaky disease.I'm new to this and don't know the proper etiquette, so I'll wait for your approval to share the short version of my story. Don't really know where to start anyway. Regardless, I will continue to read your posts as I attempt to figure all this out. I feel I know you already in some cosmic way.Hope today brings all of you a bit of sunshine!------------------------------------
