I'm on week 20 and as of April my viral load has fallen from 3 million to 360. The drs. are very optomistic that I will reach the 20 undetectable level or possibly already have. Keep me in your prayers and thoughts. This is the second time I've battled the dragon. The first time I lost and had to have a liver transplant. But this time, I'm going to kick his butt. Guest guest
GeezI was never allowed to know whether I was on the inhibitor or not!! Also, wasn't allowed to know if it was whacking out my viral count either until week 36. At that point, there was no reason not to tell me because even I knew it must be working. I am also genotype 1a the first 12 weeks my viral load was blinded so i may have been undetectable before that cause that is when found out i was undetectable. i am in the bristol myers clinical trial for the protease inhibator bms-790052 Blessed be marie--------- Sent from AT & T's Wireless network using Mobile Email - Re: [ ] Week 20 Marie That is wonderful news!!! Guest guest
CherylYour daughter will make a great candidate for the 24 weeks!! She's young, she's healthy and the virus hasn't done much damage. She could probably mop up the floor in the 24 weeks. That makes sense why they would stop you at 24 weeks. I hope my daughter will be able to do that tx, she is a 1a also. Thanks for getting back to me and hope you are having a great weekend in your new place without bad sides. Guest guest
The criteria for 24 weeks is undetectable at weeks 4, 8 and 12. If you are clear at all 3 stages you get to stop at week 24.On Sat, Feb 12, 2011 at 8:54 PM, Gloria <gadamscan@...> wrote: CherylYour daughter will make a great candidate for the 24 weeks!!
