DonnaGotta love it!!! The vagina and the boobs. Yup, once the baby making gig is over, everything just seems to fall apart. THEN you have to put up with the very male Drs thinking that a hysterectomy is the very last thing to get done. I've always been grateful that we still had the ologist that did those operations. He and I were on the same page and I could no longer make babies.In fact, after I got my tubes tied, I used to say that if I got pregnant, there would be a Dr. paying me for life. Then, after my hysterectomy I would say that there would be 2 Drs. paying for it. However, then along comes the husband who had had the male op. So then, I'd say if I got pregnant - it would be a bl.....g

Don and Teri,Last year I had to be awake to have my eye lids sliced open and stitched back up after removal of some extra skin. I was a mess too but the Vikes and the Valuim were my best friends. Another piece of cake. Just like my colonoscopy. The most handsome doctor I ever seen went up my butt but first he told the nurse to crank up the music and dim the lights. I was in heaven. So my friend, my motto is just "do it" what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I won't tell you about the new D and C procedure I had in the office wide awake while they sprayed boiling water in me with a thing that looks like a rifle. It was brand new and I was the the first one they did. The male rep had to be in the room with 2 doctors telling them how to use the gun thing. Freakin' horrible. If I hadn't been strapped down like I was getting a lethal injection I would have been long gone. Don, be glad you don't have a vagina and all the mess that goes with it.
