I know this is way late but I am going to insert this anyway. I am a med aide. Even in the nursing home we cannot destroy drugs and put them back in the system. We give them back to the pharmacutical guy who comes and does our checks. When we do a narc destroy the nurse and him are the ones who always do it and it goes into a bag with other mess and into the truck with the guy. He gets rid of it. Yep don't want it back in the land or the water system. Way to harmful. It can soak back in slowly to the aquafers and along with a lot of other things cause harm to us. Okay enough said. Back to myself. still sick as a dog. This pnemonia is still kicking my ass. Yes I am going to use every bit of my antibiotics. I would not take a chance on my life. Not in this case. When I worked for Hospice Our nurses were instructed

to destroy morphine by breaking them open pouring them onto cat litter and throwing them away in the regular trash. It depends on your state as to what they regulate as the right way to destroy or get rid of your meds. I took some back once to another hospice here in town and they just threw that womans pills away in the trash. None of them were Opiods. Most of them were like anti itch. One though was to help sleep. So depends where you are.

I know everyone of them in the town Don. Worked at quite a few of them too. In an assisted living you will have your own bathroom and your own bedroom and living room. I will get you a few addresses to look into if you are interested. Furniture you will have room in some or most of them I have seen. You have a living room and bedroom and kitchenette and bathroom. Your aides can still come in there. You will still at most assisted livings depending on the ones you go to have to have someone check on you on meals and stuff. There are the ones that cook for you and section 8s that don't. Those are more like apts.

For the amount of furniture you have I don't see why you would not be able to fit it in most places. Most are places that have older people that have hard of hearing so your playing probably won't be heard anyway. lol.

You may have to give in and do what you got to do for tx and get back after tx. I may have to do alot of the same thing. We are going to lose quite a bit I am pretty sure to do my tx. But we value my life more. My husband says nothing is more important than my life to him. So put your life first. You can bounch back slowly later Don. If I can you can. I don't bounce well so you know you can. I have been sick with this pnemonia since christmas. This really sucks. That is how slow I bounce back. Very slow. I knew one lady in one of the assisted livings that had a regular big organs she played a lot. Where I am at now they have a old preacher that plays an big organ they have there. He plays during the day and night. He sings too. He has to do it in the living room. That is where the organ is. We had that one lady that had the liver cancer that had a organ like yours Don. She played in her room.

You don't want to be there. That place is from hell. You would hate it. Rooms are too small too. No choice on foods. You get what is on the table. lol. The residents constantly complain. I am quitting if I am not fired already. I will go back now until tx. But once tx starts. If I don't feel like working I am not going to stay with that job. I am going to move to another facility. I may not have a job already. lol.

Well gonna go for now. Hang in there Don. Let me know and I will give you a list and what I have seen of them.

You are welcome, Don.I really liked your posting about living in a cave. I lived in a cave on top of seven waterfalls in Upper Sabino Canyon outside of Tuscon for about a month in 1969. I am sure I couldn't do that now, lol.I found the article on Tylenol and NSAIDS because I am getting a tooth extracted on Monday and I want to make sure I know what I am doing with the medications I take. What I have found is not fun...every medication involved with dentistry is hard on the liver or kidneys from the agent they use to numb your mouth..through any antibiotics you may take...to the pain killers they prescribe. What surprised me the most was how harmful the dental numbing agents can be. They almost all have warnings about people with liver disease. I am going to take a whole bunch of anti-oxidants before my appointment. On top of it all, I have decided not to stop my LDN which means I won't be able to take any opiate

pain killers. I've decided on a low dose of Tylenol (325 mg) if I need a pain killer, but I'm hoping to get by without any.The dentist thinks I could get by without any antibiotics, but the tooth coming out is an upper infected failed root canal that is very close to the sinus. I sought out a second opinion from an oral surgeon and he suggested 1 strong dose of Amoxicillin before the extraction. I also always ask for less local anesthesia then they normally use. If I start to feel pain they can always give a little more. One thing I've discovered is that unless you have an abscess, a root canal can be almost painless...especially if the nerve is already dead. I had my last root canal done with almost no local anesthesia at all and guess what? No pain. And I do *not* like pain at all!Having cirrhosis means I research every medication before it goes into my body. The last thing I want is to decompensate. All I want now is for

this extraction to be as routine as the dentist has indicated it should be. I'm kinda nervous and can't wait until it is over and i am on the path to healing.Cheers,>> Thank you for this article.> I have added it to the Links Library.> http://health.dir./group/ /links/TREATMENT_OF_HEPATITIS_C_001253393566/Tylenol_001285784108/> > love> don in ks> > ------------------------------------
