My little sis woke me up yesterday morning, and told me - 'Its my birthday today'.

[Not mine - hers.]

Then she snagged me away to her house for the day, for her party.

I didnt get home until after midnight.

She lives in a small 2 bedroom trailer house with her son, his wife and their 3 kids.

My older sis and my old Dad were there.

So was this guy Larry, who helped invent the personal computer.!!!!!!!

We all went to a Chinese resturant and chowed down.

Then we went back to her house and played Dominos, after she opened her presents and we ate cake.

Time sure does fly when your having fun.

Of course there was a lot of talking in between if you can call it that [one yelling to be heard over 5 other conversations.]

This was the end of a very eventful week for me.

Last wednesday before I went to see my heart doctor, my home health guy, walked in with a bag of 'stuff'.

It was like Christmas.

I got a new cheap toaster, a boom box that plays both cassettes and CD's, and best of all.....are you ready?

A 4 gig cam-corder that will make a 1 hour video.!!!!!!!

Its not one of those cell phones thingys that will take videos, this is the real deal.

The Mental Health Clinic that I go to gets donations and grants, so they buy me stuff occasionally, and call it 'therapy'. LOL :-)

In this case I mentioned several weeks ago to my Case Manager that I would like to find some way to record me playing my songs, and put the videos on YouTube.

Then I could not only have another way to preserve my music, but I could share it with others via the internet.

She went back to the powers that be, and set it up, bless her heart.

This thing I can set up and record, then download to my computer and edit, then move the videos to YouTube.

Happy happy happy me. LOL :-)

Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it, starting with turning it on.

I can surf the internet great, but the tech stuff is a bit hard for my old brain to comprehend.

The first one 30 years ago, was one of those bulky things that the picture developed and slid out.

THATS NOT ALL.

As my nephew was driving me home last night he handed me an electronic cigarette to try.

It worked.

He said it was now mine to use to help me quit smokes.

Yayyyyyyyy.

Then he told me that he had a new job, and both he and my little sis had bought new used cars.

They are going to fix one of their old cars, and let me use it.

He said that they will cover all the insurance, tags, repairs, and all that kind of stuff because I have no money.

All I have to do is put gas in it and drive it.

This isnt a done deal yet, but its in the works right now.

Hopefully soon, maybe I wont be house-bound anymore.

I will be able to drive to the lake, and sit by the water, and chill.

And whats neat is that the Food Bank where my SSI payee is at, not only gives out food to poor folks, but they give out gasoline vouchers too.

Ive pooped my pants twice this week.

Speaking of which, now I can do my laundry as needed at the laundry mat.

Or go buy a hamburger at Macs......errrrr....uh.....well I can if I want to.

I know that if this thing happens that I will start getting stronger by just being able to get out of the house.

The stronger I get, the better my chances will be that the doctor will let me do HCV treatment.

And maybe I can get this bugger out of my body once and for all, and heal.

I have been sitting here in my bed for two and 1/2 years rotting, and wondering if I am going to die from the Hep C, or my heart first.

Maybe, just maybe, God willing, I now have a chance to better my life a great deal.....and live forever. LOL :-)

I thought I would share this news with you all, because you are all my friends, and I could do that, or pick up my phone and call people at random, and tell them all about it.

So, now I am back on my liver suppliments, and liver friendly diet.

I have started my exercise program.

I am smoking my e-cig as I type, instead of that nasty stuff.

My new cam-corder is charging up.

And I have bunches of new things to think about.

Now if the cotton-picking snow would just melt...........

WOW Don - you had a very eventful couple of days. It's absolutely wonderful that your little sister included you in her birthday party. She must be special.Now, before you get too excited, you'd better look at gasoline prices! I know that I have to curtail a whole lot of my excursions. My truck does not pass many gas stations and the recent jump really hurts.My son sometimes records himself and his music on his computer. But, he does not post anything to YouTube. He has another site for that, the occasions that he does it and mostly you can only hear him, not see him.Good to read how excited you've been. That's sooo nice.Luv GloriaPS - I noticed!!!

Teri and DonThe 2012 thing!! Well, the way I see it - maybe some big change is on it's way and maybe not. I mostly subscribe to the Edgar Cayce visions and he said that basically the earth will completely change itself. Then here recently, someone was telling me that the reason for the predictions are because the earth is going change it's axis big time. Apparently, that is what happens every few million years. ie - Ice Age.But, there is nothing I can do about whatever is in the future and I'm sure not going to spend anytime worrying about it. Sh.t, I live on an island that is right over top of some of the plates undersea. So, it shifts and groans every now and again. So, you can imagine that if the

You know, my hubs is on that stupid 2012 kick. I wanna just smack him every time he brings it up. I don't think the world will end but I think some things could change... Look at our weather the past year... this is nuts... NOTHING has been like this in recent history.. even going back a couple hundred years. Just for instance, in February we had the MOST snowfall EVER in Chicago history... EVER. This winter has been horrendous and the cold weather is in places that it shouldn't be. My mom lives in Vegas and is bitching because her Palm Trees are dying... too many nights of below freezing temps. They had SNOW in Vegas this year.. several times. I am really afraid of what this spring is going to bring. If the winter was this bad can you imagine what those Spring storms can bring? Freaks me out. But really, as far as the Myan Calendar goes I think the person that

was making it just died and that's the last date he penned in. REALLY.

Do you have extra filters for the e-cig? You can get them at most smoke shops. They aren't too expensive. The car thing is cool as hell too! It will be good for you to be able to get out of the house when you need to. Not being dependent on someone else like that really helps. Good things are happening buddy... good things.
