As I've posted before, there is absolutely no need for any of us to have pain from a liver biopsy!!! It's only because the Dr. doing it is in too much of a hurry and won't take the time to freeze us properly. That makes me so angry!! Now that I know that it doesn't have to hurt, I will never allow them to do another unless I'm completely frozen to the liver or they can damn well put me to sleep. To me, it's just another way that we are being marginalized and I say - let's be loud about the abuse!!!Gloria

I was thinking about doing treatment again, with this new med, but now I am not sure...I am worse now than I was before I started treatment last time???????

I HATE liver biopsies...I had a vagal response and had to have them hurry so I could puke..that ripping that you hear as they go layer by layer is nauseating and painful....I know I do need one, but I will never request one, or deny one either....just the thought makes me cringe
