Guest guest
Thanks Teri My windows stay plastic covered year round. But there is no insulation in the walls or ceiling of this little house, so......... Its a good thing I have LIEAP [energy asst] to help with the cost. Now if the power lines will stay up, and the generators will keep running. Speaking of which.....maybe its time to invest in an gas powered electric generator??? Or igloo making tools. LMAO :-) You all get the snow, but your next to a huge body of water that regulates the temperature. Thats the way it was for me down in NW Arkansas, I had the lakes. Here in the plains its just flat next to flat forever. Year round the wind is like a knife. Eat some chicken soup Teri. Im sending you some 'get well' energy. love don in ks Its like 5 degrees here, and dropping to -4 tonite. Wind chill is -20. Ice or snow outside, cant tell, and lots of wind. Inside my house its cold, and the heater wont quit running. Im trying hard not to be sick, but I dont feel so good. Got mouth sores, and stomach hurts. I want to panic because even under my electric blanket Im cold. I canceled my doc appmt for today. No way Im going out unless I lose power. If I lose power, Im screwed. Everything runs on electric. Got my major weekly doc appmt tomarrow, but dont know if Im going. Got a head-doc appmt thursday. They are calling for snow tornados, Ive never heard of such a thing. Its supposed to be 47 saturday......can I survive until then? I hope you feel better Teri. Trudy, I hope your warm and safe. Marie, I hope your having a - 'good day' - finally. Gloria - BIGGGGgggg Hugs. Everybody - I love you, and sending you lots of sunshine thoughts. love don in ks with icicle hanging from nose
