Guest guest
I've read that a lot of fitness competitors train their abs four or more times per week, because the muscle is different from other muscles, and you're trying to achieve different results (you're not trying to build them up). I do 10-15 minutes of continues ab work five times a week; I use various floor positions, leg lifts, two different ab machines (one with weights, one without), the roman chair (I think that's what it's called) and the ball. Guest guest
I know that 'by the book BFL' only does abs once/week. However, most folks admit that they do them after cardio. I plan on adding back abs into my routine for the last 4 weeks, after cardio. You might do a search on Ab Boot Camp. It was published in Muscle Media and is a great workout. I also recommend doing abs on a stabilizer ball. OY! Su the Hobbit Abs > Hi All, > > I'm new here and new to BFL. Guest guest
et al: Thanks for clarifying my wrongheadedness on cutting the abs. I really didn't pay any attention to the parts of the surgery that weren't directly associated with bone. Elissa

Guest guest
I will try that tonight.Thank you, Sandi! Abs Forgot one. Lie on the floor with knees bent, feet flat on floor. Put you arms above your head and grasp something like underneath your couch. Keeping your back flat on the floor, slowly raise your knees up toward your chest, but KEEP YOUR ENTIRE BACK flat against the floor. Then slowly lower your feet back toward the floor, but DON"T let them touch the floor before raising them again. Always be sure your are "squeezing" your stomach muscles in during the exercise. Hope this helps!-Sandi Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
