Gloria, Alcohol pads may not be necessary but cleaning the area that you are going to give yourself a shot in IS necessary. It is imperative that the area where you are giving yourself the shot is cleaned with alcohol before you inject. You can use a cotton pad and rubbing alcohol from the bottle if you'd like but the area NEEDS to be sterile. If it's not, you can get one serious staph infection from your shot. You can DIE from a staph infection. It's serious business. And there is usually some sort of staph bacteria on your skin at all times. You have to clean this off. Trust me on this one guys.. this is where my lab background comes into play. Reported By MSNBC Problems with sterilization, contamination Documents show that FDA officials expressed concerns following visits to the Triad plant from July 15 to July 17, 2009, and again from April 19 to May 18, 2010. Inspectors reported that the company could not validate the processes used to ensure quality or sterility not only of alcohol prep pads and wipes, but also other products used for intimate care. Those include hemorrhoid creams, infant and adult glycerin suppositories and sterile lubricating jelly widely used in homes, as well as in clinics and hospitals for medical exams. The inspection documents, known as FDA Form 483s, were obtained by msnbc.com from a confidential source and confirmed by FDAzilla.com, an independent Web site that monitors the FDA. Copies of the documents were sent to the FDA for review; the agency did not deny their authenticity. In the documents, inspectors cited Triad’s sterilization process for alcohol prep products, questioning dosages of the gamma radiation process that ensures sterility.“Specifically, there is no validation of the gamma radiation sterilization process for the Alcohol Swabsticks labeled as sterile,†the report said. In addition, shipments of Triad Plus BZK prep pads that failed to meet specifications were released for distribution, inspectors said. The documents did not mention specific contamination of the swabs or pads with Bacillus Cereus. However, inspectors said Triad’s processes “may not be adequate to sterilize†the lubricating jelly and charged that Triad had failed to address “high microbial bioburden levels†previously detected in the purportedly sterile jelly. Information about the specific type of contamination was redacted in the documents. Inspectors reported worn and broken manufacturing equipment, misidentified batches of hemorrhoid cream, and instances where if a single batch of hemorrhoid ointment or glycerin suppositories failed quality standards, others weren’t tested for the same problem and were released for distribution. In one case, inspectors noted that a batch of lubricating jelly failed viscosity tests on Jan. 28, 2010, but was released anyway with the specific consent of Triad’s president, Haertle. A week later, the decision to release the jelly per Haertle’s authority was revised and cases of the jelly were scrapped, but some already had been distributed, according to the report.“No action was taken on the distributed cases,†inspectors wrote.Overall, officials concluded the company had no procedures in place for reporting or acting on manufacturing problems…. Before the recall, FDA had received no reports of adverse events related to Triad alcohol prep products, said. From Jan. 5 to Jan. 31, the company received about 100 reports of problems with alcohol prep products, which said was typical of the number of reports received after most recalls are posted. They included about 50 reports of infection and one death, which could not be tied to contaminated wipes.Source; MSNBC http://Hepatitis Cnewdrugs.blogspot.com/2011/02/hepatitis-c-medicines-packaged-with.html -- Teri GottliebMOVE ON. Guest guest
Teri, I will try to condense this as much as possible. OK, I worked for a Veterinarian as The PM for 19 yrs. Did purchasing direct from vendors, all bookeeping, pyrll, and general everyday responsibilitie. If ever there were problems the staff and Drs and Owner came to me for 18 yrs, So im am going thru tx, they are aware of it, no prob, I develop staph A. in my leg, ended up in hosp as MRSA. was treated, closed, but still seems to be internal to me anyway. NO LESIONS OR OPENINGS at all. Now 2 yrs after my tx. The owner and another Dr adopt 2 dogs (RESCUES) covered in staph, demodex, and many other unknown at the time skin probs. SO I order kick as expensive drugs for both dogs (Amikacin Inject, med shampoos etc...) Well nothing seems to be working and now The owner comes to me 3 months later with an OMG moment and says I think I infected this dog with MRSA during a TTA (knee Sx). Was he just venting or looking for a response i dk, I say well do everything u need to to cure and let me know what to order. The next day he recanted his statement and says he has read up on this and it is caused by overuse of ab's (DAH) anyone on the human sid could have told him that yrs ago, He was blowing smoke to make me feel he was not responsible. OK then an employees dog who was tech. treating pts w/what they are calling MRSP not MRSA, and then a third who developed staph 2 wks after a visit for a small tumor which by then erupted and was cultured and was the same bacteria as the 2 original adopted dogs, well that little gut died on days two of amikacin inj. Now, about 3 months have passed and I was not aware of some of these cases until later, On a monday morning A former owner and Dr, and person who got mrsa from a bad knee sx himself just prior to this., comes to me and says Im worried I have a spot on my face, and basically why are these dogs still here, EXPOSING STAPH TO EVERYONE,they allowed them to roam freely. people had to work within inches of them daily,So I being HR and stupid go to the owner to make him aware that other employees have concerns, he says " They just need to do the f'ing reseach, its not contagious to people!!" He then said that he felt i did not have his back with this situation and (FIRED) me laid me offf! After 19 yrs because of his perception or wtf ever idk. But here lies my issue after that book. I feel that the Vets. know that these staph (s) are contagious but do not want the LIABILITY to have to explain to owners at the visit. On the human side not many Drs even believe that it is zoonotic. HOW in Gods name do we get the professionals to make the connection that people are getting re-infected from their pets for lack of knowledge, and force the Vets to tell pet owners when it is diagnosed (DAILY) that they too should be check and/or could be t risk, esp. for us the immune compromised. Which could be any client coming in the door. If anyone took the time with the internet they can find proof and documented cases. But Wh can make this connection happen. Imagine they go around saying its the superbug, no abs can treat usually, but not cover all aspects of co-infectionr re-infections.?? How many case could be eliminated with forced knowledge from both Drs. Betty From: Theresa Gottlieb <theresagottlieb@...> < >Sent: Wed, March 2, 2011 1:21:40 PMSubject: Re: [ ] staph !! Absolutely. Guest guest
WOW. The vet's office is a cesspool of organisms I'd bet. Holy cannoli. Animals CAN pass those infections to humans... especially if they are immuno-compromised like we were during treatment. Case in point, my son had this cat. Oz. Meanest damn cat that ever lived or walked the earth. This cat used to fight like crazy.. he'd sneak out of the house (he was fast) and he'd be gone for hours to days... he'd come back all messed up. First time it happened, a few days after his " fight " the cat was REALLY sick. Took him to the vet. The damn cat had a fever of 105. 2 days and 800 bucks later, cat is good as new. Until the next fight. I swear this cat was unbelievable. He would get these abscesses on his face... UGH. After a couple of vet trips, my kid would just go get the crap from the vet and take care of the cat himself. Cat never backed away from a fight though.. always got it on the face and head. Anyway, fast forward about 5 years.. Cat is about 9 years old.. My son gets hurt at work, can't walk. Girlfriend comes over to take care of him.. (he lived with us.. didn't need her) she has a new kitten... Ian brings the kitten into their apartment in the basement.. Oz attacks my son. BITES him. Ian is screaming we run downstairs and the cat is HANGING FROM HIS ARM... CLAMPED. Blood is everywhere and this cat won't let go. I get the cat off my kid and his arm is tore up. Next day... trip to the doctor... his arm is in bad shape. High strength antibiotics. Doc says cat bites can kill people because of the STAPH infections they cause.. apparently it's a common thing in a cats mouth. Doc is worried that kid needs hospitalized and IV drugs to clear infection.. kid pushes back, gets oral meds... Luckily the kid came out okay.... Fast forward again to me on treatment... The kid has moved out but left his stupid cat. My immune system gets compromised quickly. Cat gets out, cat gets in fight... Cat has abscess on face yet again! I now can't let the cat in the house! My kid comes over and doctors the cat back to health yet again! This goes on for the entire length of time I am on treatment. I could not have that cat inside once he got an abscess... The abscess from previous vet visits had always been staph. I couldn't chance that. Animals can make us VERY sick. They can pass bacteria to us easier than we'd like to think. I'd really be inclined to report that vet's office to OSHA for both OSHA violations and CLIA violations. It sounds like a very dangerous situation. OSHA will come in with warnings and possible fines depending on the severity of the situation, they will also come in unannounced. The FDA also regulates vet offices.. A call to them might be in order as well. I'm sure there are other governing boards out there that deal with vet's offices specifically. This does come under an OSHA regulation though.. It's really sad that a vet's office wouldn't have the concern for the people that are paying for those animals to be treated. Someone who is a cancer patient can walk in there with their dog and wind up with not only their dog getting sick but them being on deaths door. Sometimes I am amazed at the stupidity of so called professionals. These people really need to be reported Betty, it's actually animal cruelty as well... SPCA? Wow. I am amazed. The more I think about what is happening in that office the sicker to my stomach I get. Check this article out too... Surprise! The OSHA Inspector is Here! By Lynn M. If the Occupational Health and Safety Adminstration made a surprise inspection of veterinary clinics, most would fail to be in compliance, says Chery F. Kendrick, DVM, of Kendrick Technical Services in Knoxville, Tenn. One common violation she sees as a provider of OSHA-compliance services for veterinarians is lack of or insufficient labeling of secondary containers—those used to hold chemicals in other than their original containers. These can include spray bottles of disinfectant and cold sterile soak for instruments. Another sticking point: If inspectors find that even one employee doesn’t know how to access the clinic’s Material Safety Data Sheets, it is a violation. The fine for potentially harming the health of your employees is $7,000 per incident. “If you have 25 unlabeled containers, that’s 25 times $7,000, or $175,000,” Dr. Kendrick says. “Even if you appeal and get your fines reduced by 95 percent, $8,750 is still a significant amount of money.” Inspectors may use formulas of comparative risk-taking and take into account the number of employees and the number of days they were at risk by using the unlabeled containers. OSHA’s stringent documentation requires practice-specific safety manuals and training records, as well as the display of federal and state posters. Fines for paperwork violations—no record of employee training or no written safety manual, for instance—start at $1,000 per incident. And again, the formula of comparative risk could be applied to the number of days the employees were not trained or the safety manual was unavailable. Kendrick’s best advice for veterinarians is to know OSHA regulations. “It is in the veterinarian’s best defense to research the law,” she says. She warns that some inspectors try to apply human standards to animal practices. Veterinarians don’t have to comply. Kendrick says OSHA inspectors get bonuses based on fines issued to veterinarians. She suggests that practitioners always appeal fines. “You never want to pay the fine right away,” she says. “The veterinary industry is a new ‘deep pocket’ for OSHA,” Kendrick says. “Veterinarians are finding themselves more targeted than ever before. “OSHA is an excellent and necessary regulatory agency,” she notes. “It provides for the safety of employees and provides a route for correction if an employer refuses to comply. Workplace deaths and injuries are down 80 percent since OSHA began working so hard to keep employees safe.” OSHA inspections are always a surprise, she says. “They can’t tell you when they are coming, though you can call for an inspection yourself.” No fines are assessed when management calls and infractions or violations are found. Veterinarians are expected to bring their clinic back into compliance. Many veterinarians hire consultants to set up their practices to OSHA standards. Services may include inspection of the property, presentation of a safety program, setting up and maintaining MSDS databases and emergency action plans, and proper labeling of secondary containers. Staff training, follow-up or online training, as well as manuals and training tools, may be included. Costs are usually less than $5,000 for an initial set-up. “Find someone with proven veterinary knowledge,” Kendrick says, “not just someone who thinks they know about veterinary clinics because they are from the human medical arena.” OSHA courses are available online and at seminars.Stericycle’s SteriSafe.com creates OSHA safety plans through a step-by-step, practice-specific online process. “After considering the monetary risks of non-compliance,” says Bob Tangredi, corporate vice president of Stericycle Inc. of Lake Forest, Ill., “being proactive about maintaining OSHA compliance and protecting the health and safety of every employee is critical. “While many facilities run tight ships, gaps in compliance are a daily occurrence,” he says. “Busy administrators may be unaware of the many federal mandates of compliance.” Dick Best, Stericycle’s director of OSHA compliance services, says he consistently finds three potential risks for worker safety: animal bites, zoonotic diseases and hazardous chemicals. “Veterinarians are great at training and educating new hires,” Best says. “But then most offices get busy. So there’s always room for improvement in the safety arena.” Louise Dunn of Snowgoose Veterinary Management Consulting in Greensboro, N.C., reminds veterinarians that their staffs don’t have to allow an OSHA inspection if the practice owner is not on site. “Instruct your team to ask them to come back when you will be present,” Dunn says. “It’s a good idea to have that in writing in your procedure manual. “Every veterinarian knows about OSHA,” she says. “It’s not that they ignore the regulations; they don’t realize the power this agency can have over their practices.” Dunn notices that many practices she visits, from Alaska to California to Florida, have several OSHA issues in common. “One out of four offices will not know the regulations about radiation safety badges, a clear citation,” she says. “They either don’t wear the badges over protective gear or don’t wear them at all when taking radiographs.” Another common violation: lab or exam room refrigerators that house animal medications often hold employees’ soda cans or lunches. “You can’t store human food in the same refrigerator,” she says. Dunn suggests that procedures for handling animal bites become part of the hospital’s standard operating manual. On the positive side, she notices that more offices require the wearing of gloves when handling blood or fecal samples, and most offices display their OSHA-mandated posters. <HOME> http://www.veterinarypracticenews.com/vet-dept/vet-practice-management/surprise-the-osha-inspector-is-here.aspx Hugs,TeriOn Wed, Mar 2, 2011 at 1:04 PM, Betty Himes <stayhungryforlife@...> wrote: Teri, I will try to condense this as much as possible. In the documents, inspectors cited Triad’s sterilization process for alcohol prep products, questioning dosages of the gamma radiation process that ensures sterility.“Specifically, there is no validation of the gamma radiation sterilization process for the Alcohol Swabsticks labeled as sterile,” the report said. In addition, shipments of Triad Plus BZK prep pads that failed to meet specifications were released for distribution, inspectors said. The documents did not mention specific contamination of the swabs or pads with Bacillus Cereus. However, inspectors said Triad’s processes “may not be adequate to sterilize” the lubricating jelly and charged that Triad had failed to address “high microbial bioburden levels” previously detected in the purportedly sterile jelly. A week later, the decision to release the jelly per Haertle’s authority was revised and cases of the jelly were scrapped, but some already had been distributed, according to the report. “No action was taken on the distributed cases,” inspectors wrote.Overall, officials concluded the company had no procedures in place for reporting or acting on manufacturing problems…. Before the recall, FDA had received no reports of adverse events related to Triad alcohol prep products, said. From Jan. 5 to Jan. 31, the company received about 100 reports of problems with alcohol prep products, which said was typical of the number of reports received after most recalls are posted. They included about 50 reports of infection and one death, which could not be tied to contaminated wipes. Guest guest
TeriAfter all of this, did you keep the cat?? I had to leave a ginger tom cat at the mobile because really, he's trailer park trash. Literally!! When the addicts across the street were asked to move, that cat waited until the last couple of weeks. Then he came over to our house, popped his head in the window and honestly asking if he could come in. Husband welcomes him!! So, that's been home for a number of years now. However, he does his rounds, a couple of times a day and gawd help another cat to even come on the property!!But, just because I can't keep him, likely he'll be fine. My niece knows the cat well and they just got rid of all theirs. So, if Ego can handle the 3 year old, he'll be fine.Gloria WOW. First time it happened, a few days after his "fight" the cat was REALLY sick. The more I think about what is happening in that office the sicker to my stomach I get. h -- Te
Guest guest
Gloria, Im in Md. and although it shouldnt be legal Md is an AT WILL state meaning the employee has no rights. I went to eeoc and filed a wrongful discharge and lost, as the dr told so many lies it was to painful to persue and costly. He said I was incompetent! I did the books for approx 3 million annually and was always within pennies when i reconciled monthly.I hope he has better effeciency than that now! Just BS. It becomes more of an OSHA Occupational Safety Hazard concern, but their guidlines is they preferred that u either still be employed there when filing claim or be done within 30 days. The lawyer I went to took the case but did not tell me this until it was too late. I did report him to the MD State Bd Of Vets. (HE has very deep pockets-as he always said) They also because there is so litle known except by what the Vet sees that they have no protocol to follow and most outside of the medical field dont want to address this. The Bd has determined that he must gain further knowledge on staph. Well thats a start, would be better told to a DR who will be honest with his findings though. My real concern is that people dont know! The staph like Teri said lives on our skin normally, the same goes for the pets, they live on the pets hair, unlesss there is a lesion no-one knows. Now when a human gets staph they should be asked if they have pets then be advised to bath pets with a medicated shampoo , treat entire house, and to do all this simultaniously with your own treatment. When a pet has it the Vet should be responsible for educating the pet owner. The two are just not playing connect the dots. When this all happened the hospital did approx 2 cultures on many surfaces, like keyboards, sx table, xray table, etc, SURPRISE it was found everywhere, even on stethoscopes. There is so much unknown about this. When a human does not respond to ab's just maybe it is getting reinfected vs. the meds. arent working, reality is some of both. Education is the key missing factor here, and I feel no-one wants the liability to report all cases. This should be considered a zoonotic disease but it is not. YET!!!! Just Venting in hopes that someone out here has a connection with human pathologist, or research Doc who would love to attack this with a passion. The dumb ass Dr that let me go. Could have opted to do the right thing, and wrote in any medicine journal and become the one who discovers this and outs it to the publi, but because he killed one, and infected the knee of another he chose to shove it under the rug. Sometimes I wonder if it wasnt more because i was an embarrassment to hin during treatment, I looked bad, but kept working., he knew i was slated for 2nd attemp in 7/11 ?? HMMn .A-Hole. Now the new drama is here im here on unemployment, about half of what im used too, thats ok , but this jerk owes me 40,ooo and will not even speak to me, so i will have to pay a lawyer to get my money, he sent a stmnt of what is owed, WRONG, he and Merryl Lynch were trying to neglet to tell me I was due further monies, after advising them im not stupid, he agreed that they do owe me more and if I take this $ now I will just have to trust i will recieve the balance. SO f'd up that the rich steals from the poor, its not like he needs my addt'l 8 or 10 thousand dollars. I found that they do this to everyone, say u lose your job and the plan states u have to wait 1 yr from the yr end to claim your money, they do not tell you that your money, because it is still invested in their stocks of choice that I am entitled to Gains or loss if there was one for as long as your money is invested, in this case there was an approx. 20% increase. The big dogs are so big because they are thieves from us work-a bees. So here i sit with paperwork telling me to sign right here and u will get your chk in 1-4 weeks, boy i need that money, but I cannot sign because they will never give me the balance. I asked for a promisary note stating there was still an undetermined amt owed to me if I took this money, of course now they are caught in thier lie so they had to say no. I suppose I have to pay a lawyer just to get the figures right!! What a cruel and fucked up world some people make this place. Its all ok because once if ever I do get the money I am reporting the whole Plan with Merryl lynch to the IRS. Let them deal with the dirty thieves. Just venting thanks for listening. I think looking at this paper that i cant sign has got me in an uproar. I dont even like myself right about now.Gloria I am a bookkeeper (just not a cpa) but have the skills to be one, I think i just knew too much of his dirty doings! He freakin steals from his own company, mostly to avoid corporate taxes. Well he fucked with the wrong dummy this time. This will take time. But I did what i could and have to turn the rest of revenge over to God as it is to consuming for me. AS i told him God dont like UGLY!! GRRR. The dog goes to the original owner to be groomed fairly often - so, I'm sure she would know if Jazz had anything. Oh Oh, as a matter of fact, she would get extremely upset. My little Jazz is mother to 's Jackie. Jackie is the mother of Merlin's. Merlin also became a father; however, none of his offspring live there. When I go over for Jazz to be groomed, it's really hard to tell the difference between Jazz, Jackie and Merlin. I look for her collar then. Gloria, Alcohol pads may not be necessary but cleaning the area that you are going to give yourself a shot in IS necessary. It is imperative that the area where you are giving yourself the shot is cleaned with alcohol before you inject. You can use a cotton pad and rubbing alcohol from the bottle if you'd like but the area NEEDS to be sterile. If it's not, you can get one serious staph infection from your shot. You can DIE from a staph infection. It's serious business. And there is usually some sort of staph bacteria on your skin at all times. You have to clean this off. Guest guest
Teri, he has been reported to everyone possible, he happens to do spay and neuter clinics for free for a lot of shelters (SPCA). So they love him and Im just the angry discharged employee out for revenge so nothing I could say mattered. The only thing accomplished was the State Bd of Vets required him to obtain further knowledge on the matter! Well thats a start but the time would be better spent on a Dr who will then do something beneficial to society with that knowledge. I reported to all the following and some passed the buck to the next, not their job. MD St Health Dept. Md Parks and Recreation FDA CDC OSHA St Bd Of Vet Med Examiners (They are supposed to oversea) Oh and also after he let me go ,to the owner of the dog who's knee was infected after He performed the sx, dogs knee has been amputated since and not for free. They were never even made aware that it was possible that thier dog could have gotten from the hospital during his first sx, 2 weeks prior to culture. I called them truely so they would know that it was contagious to them or anyone who may visit them, because I have had it and know its no joke! This clown aquired ownership about 3 yrs ago and this was not the way I was used to managing the practice. I guess thats why im not there HMNN. Real kick in the ass is that now 7 months later, one of the dogs who is still not cured, OWNED BY A VET WITH ACCESS TO ANY DRUG NEEDED!! decides to place the dog in a cage in the LOBBY, now up for adoption!!! with s note stating that the dog has skin issues and willl need regular medicated baths. I could only laugh that i lost my job after 19 yrs over this dog who they will now pass along to an unaware person who doesnt have access to the tx they did that did not work, what if that person has a family member visit who is immune compromised?? This whole thing is/was so wrong it makes me insane to think about it still. The question lies in what can we do to make someone accountable to report staph to help eliminate re-infection. As much as i was wronged I still think something needs to change or we will never eradicate the staphs. I reported them to Health dep. (not thier dept) Osha says it has to be reported by an existing employee or within 30 days (WTF) The ST BD Of VET Med is the agenct to oversea and fine the vet if needed, they investigated and concluded that this is a human concern and needs further education on the Vets part. Damn I wish that investigator had adopted the said dog. My lawyer who is a retired judge said I have a great case but he has other Drs I do not even know stating that i applied for work at thier clinics and therfore was unhappy in my job. He says I quit and he just wrote the note saying i was laid off so i could collect unemployment. If I quit would i persue any legal action, that would be stupid! The more I think about what is happening in that office the sicker to my stomach I get. h-- Te

Guest guest
BettyBeing treated like that is horrible, I know because it happened to me back in my early 20's by lawyers that I had worked for. I have no idea why that office manager had to lie, because the firm wasn't losing any money. Anyway, by the time that even became an issue, my waiting period was over. You know that I am a bookkeeper as well?? Like you, I do not have the equivalent to a CPA. However, I do have over 35 yrs experience under my belt. Now, it is a home-based business and I have clients and no bosses. You know, whenever any of my clients have sold their business's, I've always said that I don't go to the new owner. We get to know too much about the running of the business, good and bad!! So, I just feel safe not doing it.While you are on Unemployment, perhaps you'd like to give it a try to take in a few clients. My whole business here is mostly word of mouth. Some of these clients have been with me for over 20 yrs. I've seen their children as toddlers grow to the early 20's. Some, I've been through their divorces and once in a very long while, a client will die. But, I have no boss except me and lately I've been a little to soft on myself. I've gotta get caught up!!!Now, if that Vet owes you $40,000 - don't accept anything less!!! Why should you?? Sure, I could well use $8,000 - $10,000; but not to lose $30,000 or more. Geez, I'm just having a fight with one of my brothers because he took my dinnerware, utensils, and pots etc. Oh and a new coffee maker that my now deceased husband had just bought. OK, I've given up even being able to pick out what I wanted, I've even given up on the coffee pot; but, I won't accept the crap he tried to pawn off to me!!! Nope, there has to be a line in the sand and that brother has crossed far too far. As I told my Mother - I don't care if she wants to oust me from the family - what he did was theft. I've taken a whole lot of kicks this last year and a half! I'm not letting some lazy ass brother of mine get away with his attitude!!! Now, I have to tell my mother since it's the only way I can get a message across to him apparently.Oh life!! Luv Gloria Gloria, Im in Md. and although it shouldnt be legal Md is an AT WILL state meaning the employee has no rights. GRRR. Guest guest
Teri, Thats why I asked you, I have done all i can possibly think off. and he seems invincable, however after threatening to go to the news today about the Merrill Lynch issue, i the find out he transfered all of everyones money into Fidelity who says they dont have it. So wahtever is going on there since my departure is to say the least Schisty SO the news thing I think got him and I rec'd a call from his attny stating they are sending the paperwork to take a partial distribution thereby leaving me in the plan to assure my future gains from 2010. Durimg all of this drama I have been trying to find a job and right after his call one of the apps I put in for a bookkeeper for a medical office called and I have an interview on Monday. I have been on 1 interview in 20 yrs. HELP!! Back to him, there is more than what I can say but it aint over till the fat lady sings!! Your words were my exact words to him and the State Bd, "You took an oath to" "At first do no harm" . His response was well I also took an oath to my wife and laughed. Such an erogant pig, and sadly when he first came on as just a Dr he wasnt like that, the money and ability to finds ways to shelter income he became this money driven monster. I used to tell others when he was on a tangent that he was just feeding his ego. As far as the other employess, some of the young girls he hangs out with to party are of course going along with his story even though they know its lies, but they are leaving also, like a revolving door, but, we all worked very hard and were paid well, so most are not taking a chance of losing their job, heck he forbid them to communicate with me, after 19 years of frienship with these guys. Hell he even told me to train his ?? girlfriend that he took to belize with him for 2 weeks with wifey at home , i was told to train her on the purchasing and inventory, two days later I was told she said she was meeting resistance wth my training her. Well I was setting up for a two day 6 hrs each day training seminar for the entire hospital (Closed) to go paperless. Oops I was too busy right then to be her puppet. Making sure al 14 computers were running along with the projector for an tella seminar. No one else knew how to do this, and he leyt me go at the very end of the 2nd day . we were done! I tried the Public safety thing due to the park out back out the clinic, that didnt work either. WTF I feel like i am on another planet with this one and even though they have to know the truth they will never acknowledge it. My thought is screw him at this point he is just inorant, but there has to be a Vet/Dr who would research this and write about it in all the medical journals both 2 legged and four legged ones and let them have the glory of doing the right thing. Anybody know any good honest research people?? You know what really gets me is I KNOW AS SURE AS I BREATH that i was doing the right thing and look what it has cost me, and nobody wants to agree but I will not let that change me. He who laughs last laughs loudist. There has to be someone who will out this to the world, imagine if we could play any part in at least lowering the stats on staph from re-infection. Also I was always siclky when I worked there, I really have not been sick since i left!! Gods gonna hold him accountable. He developed this attitude that he was God, when he had a major emergency sx, and all goes well, he is GOD no doubt. Give in a bad day and he would throw syringes across the room. I am better off not around him and have a good feeling about this interview so wish me luck, I stop rambling now. There is just so many battles i feel i am fighting but the most important is to get back to work to get health insurance again. Oh yeah he let me go 1 week after the Obama law had expired where he would have had to pay 65% of the insurance which on unemployment I just cant afford. I think of him as the opposite of Robin Hood, instead of stealing from the rich to give to the poor, he steals from the poor to give to himself (The rich)I guess his new nickname is now Dooh-Nibor. Well everyone else can make up new words well theres mine. Backwards Robin Hood. Betty Theresa Gottlieb <theresagottlieb@...> < >Sent: Thu, March 3, 2011 4:05:33 PMSubject: Re: [ ] staph !! Let me think on this Betty.. there has to be somebody that will hold him accountable. Betty Betty , and not for free From: Betty Himes <stayhungryforlife@...> Sent: Thu, March 3, 2011 4:10:07 AMSubject: Re: [ ] staph !! I did report them for public safety reasons also, as they were allowing these dogs to roam in a public park to go to the bathroom, therby spreading it in the park where kids play WTF. You know it is found in the urine also, not to mention the shedding of the staph off of the skin. Well that battle was lost and now I get to fight for what they owe me, Say a prayer cause im gonna need it. Somedays my mind thinks of some crazy crap to do to this guy so I have to let it go for me. The system fails people who dont have deep pockets like he says and has procven to be true. I say you cant escape God. Betty From: Gloria <gadamscan@...> Sent: Wed, March 2, 2011 10:49:07 PMSubject: Re: [ ] staph !! First time it happened, a few days after his "fight" the cat was REALLY sick. The more I think about what is happening in that office the sicker to my stomach I get. h-- Te -- Teri GottliebMOVE ON. It's just a chapter in the past, but don't close the book. Just turn the page.
