Guest guest
Hi Karma and everyone, Karma, you are so inventive. It is fun to watch and see all the things you come up with in a day. I think you have a very positive spirit and will be committed regardless of what comes of your test, but some may become discouraged if they don't see the immediate results. Every person's body will respond differently and it can be hard if they add this kind of pressure to their efforts. I would say that for some to measure every day may not as good as for you Karma, because you have an exceptional determination at whatever you do, but some would become obsessed and discouraged. After working with thousands of people over the years I have determined that what works for the majority is to try to incorporate Life Lift into your life so if feels more like second nature to you. If you can think of your workout as something to look forward to each day, as a gift, not a challenge then it will be easier to stay with long term. There are so many variables, especially for women. We have hormone changes, water retention, bloating from what we have eaten and the matter of how well our digestive system is functioning. If you can look at all this objectively and do the daily measuring more for fun, and not take it too seriously then it will be fine. Otherwise I would not encourage it for everyone. Take care, Rashelle You are welcome to visit us at http://www.angelmagic.com or http://www.lifelift.comjoin our discussion group at LifeLift-subscribeonelist Day Three From: "Karma" <tucker@...> Hi Everyone, This is my third day of my tape measure experiment. I think that everyone should do this. It is very enlightening. To re-cap: Day 1: I did the #1 LifeLift workout video. I measured before the workout and then again after the workout. At the end of the workout I had lost 2 inches from the waist, 1 inch from the lower abs, and 1/2 inch from the hips! Yippee! Day 2: I measured again before working out. I had gained back 1 inch on my waist, so that meant that one inch was still gone! I gained back 1/2 inch from lower abs. which meant that 1/2 inch stayed gone! I gained back the 1/2 inch that I lost from the hips, RATS! nothing gone from the hips! Did the LifeLift kids workout with the kids. Then proceeded to forget to measure! Sheesh! Day 3: I measured again before working out. I then did the #1 LifeLift workout video. After the workout I remembered to measure today. All my measurements were the same today as yesterday's beginning measurements, so no losses from yesterdays kids video. That makes sense because I was really helping the kids more than working out myself. After today's workout I had lost an inch from the waist, an inch from the lower abs, and half an inch from the hips. I guess tomorrow we will see if they stay gone! I will add to this report tomorrow. Have a great day!~Karma********************Get paid for surfing the net, I do - http://www.alladvantage.com/go.asp?refid=ICA-586 Here is a really fast DSL Internet connection for free? http://i.winfire.com/s/isapiEng.dll/wf.exe?cmd=dl & 190013103,59160,508 & .exe
Guest guest
Rashelle, You are so right, as usual. I am a collector of information! I like to know this information for myself and I get a lot of personal e-mail from people who also want to know these things too. Keeping this information helps me to understand how my body works. I like to know what works for me and what doesn't. On another note, you know I still have about 50 pounds to go and at least 2 dress sizes. I don't care about the pounds, would just like to look in the mirror and not have the fat in my skin anymore! I was talking on the phone to one of my good friends today. I happened to be in the process of dressing. Had my underwear on, hadn't gotten to the rest. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror and was amazed that my abs are starting to show definition!!!! I still have a layer of fat on it, but the definition is starting to show through! YES!!! ~Karma Day Three From: "Karma" <tucker@...> Hi Everyone, This is my third day of my tape measure experiment. Guest guest
Rashelle, I am so glad that you posted this message to the board. It is very easy to become disappointed, disillusioned and ready to quite, when the results we desire are not immediate. But I would like to point out that there are so many other benefits to the breathing exercises than simply the inch loss. I often think that some healing may need to take place in certain areas of the body before it is free to release the inches and pounds. I believe this may be the first miracle that LL is performing as we start this wonderful breathing form. We can't always tell what is going on inside of us at each minute of each day, but our bodies know. Keeping this in mind, we should allow them to do what they need to do in order to heal and move on to creating the bodies we desire. To anyone who is feeling like a slow loser, be sure to know, that your body is benefiting by the minute, with every LL breath you take. And in time, usually not to long, your body will reach a place of health and well being, and will be free to move on to other issues, like inch and weight loss. I have found this to be very true for me and many others. So please do not disappear, be kind to yourself and let your body do what it naturally needs to do! Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: <elan214@...> <egroups> Hi Ellen in NY, I do hope that Day 4 is better than Day 3. I said a prayer for all the ocd kids that I have read about on the list that are adjusting to school this week. I know when things are really bad here, (and they have been this week), and when I think of my son and wonder how things are, I say a prayer. I know they help me even when he has a horrible day. I am wishing you a very bright spot on day 4. Good luck and lots of hugs.
Guest guest
Today is the third day that I stay on the challenge I gave myself: to work out at least 5 days a week for one month. I feel great after my workout, it's rejuvenating. I drank close to a gallon of water yesterday. I feel that my tummy is bigger than ever this past few days though. I posted that I had a lipo on my tummy three months ago. Anyone has done lipo?
Guest guest
Trudy... I do that too! The talking jibberish in my sleep... hubs keeps listening thinking I'm gonna say something that he needs to know! Your hair... take it all off so it can grow out healthy again. It's all that nasty Ribavirin that is still in your system. WATER WATER WATER. Hugs,TeriOn Thu, Mar 3, 2011 at 12:54 PM, trudykinsey@... <trudykinsey@...> wrote: Still early( for me LoL) in the day.
