Hello Pam and Betty and everyone else ...Met with Stacey the coordinator, she took all my daughter's information and did an ekg on her.  Then they took about 10 vials of blood and then saw Cherilyn Brinkley a Nurse Practitioner who did her physical.  I printed out all her recent blood work and genotype and pcr and they said if their blood work comes back as good as the recent ones she took before her biopsy she will be ready to start within 30 days.  They were as kind as you both said they would be, it was so easy to find.  It is about a 40 minute drive, so very doable.  They were excited to meet us and hear our story and were very impressed with how well I have responded to tx and think will do just as well.  I felt very comfortable with them and they really put my mind at ease that even though this is a study that she will be given the best care and they are going to see her through 48 weeks of tx and beyond if she doesn't respond.  They said we won't know the viral load before 12 weeks, but if I can get her gastro to check it then we will know sooner than they can tell us because she said they can't see it either.

Pam and Betty, I met Marie, what a sweet woman.  She remembered you both and said for you both of you to give her a call and say hi.

Stacey said it will take about 3 weeks to get all the results back and then she will call us to schedule the first visit and then we are off.  I am very hopeful that she will do fine and the nurse practitioner said she is young and a majority of the young ones have little to no sides.  I will keep you all updated and I thank everyone for their support and concern about my daughter.  We are both fighters and we are going to win this fight!
