ButchI grew up at the water's edge here. I live on Vancouver Island, Canada. The island is off the coast from Vancouver. Anyway, I have salt water in my veins; but, still could not handle the high seas!!!On the island most west side, we have a beach called "Long Beach". The first time anyone goes there, they can't help but remark on how the trees grow. The are slated to the east. Also, having lived here on the island for most of my life, I certainly know what rain is. But, coming out of the Long Beach area was absolutely frightening my first time. The rain was coming so hard that it made it almost impossible to see anything in front of you AND it's a very winding road

back up from that coast.Gloria

Hey this is a bit off subject but I love boats and 's story fasinates me. Does he have any pics of his boat and the adventures he has been on posted anywhere. There is nothing quite like a high seas adventure and it takes a very special person to do it. It not just in ones blood as they say, That level of love for the sea is imbeded deep in ones soul. Sorry if asking anything too personal...

It's not a life-It's an adventure.
