Whoever recommended HearOs ear plugs, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Even though I use a CPAP machine, I have not been able to use it without sleeping pills. Since I started using the ear plugs (mind you I've not been able to use other brands as they hurt one of my ears) I don't have to use the extremely expensive sleeping pills. I am a really light sleeper and every noise startles me. The HearOs are a very soft material and don't hurt my ears. I did not wake last night until it was time for me to get up and get ready for work---that's a miracle! Thanks again for recommending HearOs. > > Deb Halvorson > > > > Re:brain fog > > > I tend to lean, respectully, with Amity. Guest guest
I suppose you have used an AM radio to check things out ? Living in Plasma TV hell (in the house over the road, not of my making) here, I can tell you that ordinary household appliances (actually correction there is nothing ordinary about a Plasma TV) however I seemed to have been unblessed with a model that is the mother of all RF generators ! my symptoms after 20 mins exposure after which I have to flee the house and surroundings. itching in lower legs - calves and a sense of thickness ? temples itch - 1st sign a mild feeling of dizziness as if someone has a gentle grip around my throat heart palps loss of memory ie standing around trying to remember what I was doing - this is not a senior moment as I am only 45. sound sensitivity adversion to sudden sounds even my own voice a warble to my voice as if I am an old person a feeling of anxiety in my arms and legs and basically whole body shallow breathing uneasyness/iritability/agression/anger heaviness/fatigue visual impairment and eyes that feel like I have watched TV for 24hrs joint and muscle pains inability to go to sleep i have probably missed something, but this is only from the Plasma TV, my es symptoms are never so far ranging from other scources - I firmly belive that the TV is hitting some very broad range frequencies high and low in a very spikey waves form, I aggree that the LF rf which rides off the high RF is probably doing most of the damage as is gets right into the body. The only remedy I have for this is to run away until it stops. I have recently tried whey protien and creatine as I work out a lot now, and with is branch chain amino acids etc I certainly feel mildy more energetice, placebo maybe, but thinking about it it probably boosts me at a metabolic level quite rapidly, just guessing. Guest guest
Try measuring with an MFJ-856 from mfjenterprises.com No guarantee it will pick it up, but it's the only directional meter I know of that is likely to pick up the dirty power. For brain fog get a doctor to give you a B-12 shot (methyl form) Bill On Sun, Jan 30, 2011 at 10:03 PM, lindameetoo <lindameetoo@...> wrote: > > > I'm not ignorant. Guest guest
Sorry that you have to go through all this. It is really hard to cope sometimes.Sounds like me. I have so many symptoms. I seem to be getting more sensitive as time goes on. Ceiling fans really mess me up quickly. cent lights and the smart meter just to name a few. That is over and above the usual feeling of awful. I hope to move by Spring. If my house sells. Some place with less cell towers and antennas. Less overhead power lines. I hope that getting away from the high congestion of all this man-made Stuff, that I can start to heal. I pray the same for you. :-) > > But whenI'm by the meter I can't stand it. Guest guest
I forgot that one also. High pitch with loud hissing all around. Guest guest
Heck my short -term ( isn't that what it's called?) memory is just terrible. I avoid speaking unless it's to Becky cause she understand and Hubby and even he gets a tiny bit impatient with me. Almost every comment or conversation, I just loose the subject or what was I going to say? It's very frustrating. I can't remember long enough to write it down. This is my best format for communicating( especaily since no hand tremors). I can go back to see again what the subject is , or who I am sending to. I still forget a lot of words, so I just use another! Guest guest
LOL. What did you say?I feel soo much better with the high dosage of Elavil gone. Memory just as bad but no tremors . I didn't fall for a whole week! Till tonight. I was on my tractor driving on the pond dam along side a steep ravine. Quess back tire was not on ground any longer, it tipped suddenly to one side. It really wasn't much but for my lazy equilbrum(sp) I tipped as well and slide mostly off but far leg was still across seat. Of course tractor was still on but I had knocked it into nuetral as I fell, thank goodness. I honestly saw little snipets of my life. Mostly how long before any one found me? Any way, very very scarey. I finally had to slide the rest of way off and scrambled to not go rest of way down ravine. And trusty big Green Machine just purring waiting for me to get us out of this situation, LoL But I don't think this fall could be blamed on Elavil, just on me still being too weak for a lot of normal activities. Guest guest
No , that was the part of " life flashing before me". Hubby knew I was out fooling around, so to speak. And I knew if the Green Machine fell over into ravine, me with it, that would be the last place he would look. I mean, 60 acres to search! I shouldn't have been near the ravine( yes we all know by now how stubborn I get...) so he wouldn't look there." Guest guest
BettyI think everyone is right and I need to teach myself to write it down. I use left over computer paper and tear it up to be note paper. Trouble is, I can't see my desk sometimes, for these little note. I think I need a real pad and keep it where ever I go too. I'm so tired of forgetting things.Gloria Gloria, I had major brain fog during tx and still but not as bad now, I would almost every morning write down all things i needed to do that day and chk them off as I did them,vI was pulled in so many directions at work that i kept a pad with me at all times because someone could ask me a question and expecting an answer soon i may just get asked another question and forget all about the first one. Post its became my friend too. Betty F
Guest guest
This is so sad, and it is more worrying to those who are suffering with this who do not have access to thyroid support groups. I know I thought I was starting Alzheimer's when I had terrible brain fog and short term memory. The brain needs both T4 and T3 to make it function. It is the one organ that does need T4 on its own, but mostly, without sufficient levels of T3, it just cannot function as it should. I think most people who have suffered with brain fog and then started T3 will tell you that the first thing that returned to them was their normal brain. I know it was with me. She probably has a heart problem because she has been suffering with symptoms of hypothyroidism for so long and has been left untreated. Has Dr Peatfield started her on any form of T3 yet, either synthetic or natural thyroid extract. It sounds as if she badly needs to start thyroid hormone replacement, albeit at small doses and increasing it slowly. Here is a web site where you will find lots of other causes for brain fog - there are more causes than I had ever realised Miriam. http://www.drlwilson.com/articles/brain_fog.htm Luv - Sheila I have a friend who has bad brain fog. Today we were out for a walk and she could hardly get a sentence out without struggling to find words. She is a patient of Dr Peatfield's and she is treating her adrenals, thryoid, etc, as best she can considering she has a serious heart condition and has to be careful to balance all her various treatments. My question is: what factors have people found have helped with their brain fog? Is it to do with poor circulation, low blood sugar or what other factors? What has made your brain fog worse, and what has made it better? Thanks, Miriam No virus found in this message.
