Guest guest
Hi Betty That was nice of you. Some people would have called the cops, and had him hauled away. I was homeless from 1980 to 2001, when the Govt approved my SSI. 21 years after I got blown up in 1979. I dont know how I survived. I have seen every side of human beings. Some were kind, some werent so nice. Anyways, thank you for showing kindness to another. love don in ks Ok I just need to vent, WTF is wron with this world???!!??. I not a sleeper so I get up @ all hrs, just now close to 12pm I wake up with this overwhelming desire to sit on the front porch, why idk i never do, anyways, I go outside, Its prob about 35 degrees out= COLD and there is a man on the neighbors porch, huddled up trying to keep warm. Well needless to say I no longer wanted to sit out front. Not because of fear of him, but how could I just sit there? So I go in. I cant go back to sleep now thinking of the endless amt of homeless people me and my daughter used to feed when I had a job (LOL) So "but for the grace of God, There go I." Ok Bottom line is now I need to crank up the heat because I gave him my QUILT and pillow off of my bed. Some would say Im crazy. Nah, well maybe a little. But i have heat and I know he is now warm and cozy at least for the night. I wake early, so if he is there in the am he will get breakfast too. I believe every act of kindness goes a long way. I am one unemployment check away from being him. This is why I hate people with money who wont help others. ok done venting, gotta find another blankie for me.
