Guest guest
I definitely have problems if I eat too much meat/fish/eggs. Since I have candida, my grain consumption needs to be minimal. I have ot eat LOTS of freuits and vegetables and SMALL PORTIONS of the meat proteins. My body aches and I feel awful when I don't get the balance right. But, if I just have a small amount of meat protein for two days, it's fine. Guest guest
HI Alison, I was diagnosed with Fibro last september after a horrible year of ill health by a rheumatologist, and put on pregabalin. It affected my thyroid meds and made me really depressed though so I had to stop it. I was on a combination of T4 and T3 at the time, however, since going onto T3 only only 6 weeks ago and doing the circadian method, about 75% of my " fibro " symptoms have disapeared and I would no longer say I have fibro. Having a short course of technique lessons and getting a sloping cushion for my desk chair in conjunction with that has also helped. Nadia > > Hello there I am new here. Who suffers from fibromyalgia here and has treating your thyroid properly helped? I honestly had not thought of this connection and it was only someone telling me yesterday it could be to do with my thyroid and that I don't have fibro? > Ali >
Guest guest
Ali, many who have been given a diagnosis of fibromyalgia started to feel tons better when they started treatment with either T4/T3 combination, T3 alone or natural thyroid extract. Do you have any recent thyroid function test results you could show us, i.e. TSH, free T4, free T3. Also remember to show us the reference range for each of the tests done, otherwise we cannot help with their interpretation Luv - Sheila Hello there I am new here. Guest guest
Hi Alison and Nadia, I too have terible fibromyalga. I was on 175 levothyroxine, Im now on 50 of t3 and have just lowered to 25 of T4. Dr P says i might need to have T3 only. That is such good news Nadia. Can i ask you were you taking a lot of T4/T3 before you changed over? Best Wishes Angie xx > > > > Hello there I am new here.
