Guest guest
My husband's family settled in SC so we're all related somehow. They were farmers and settled in different areas of the state. Now there are different familial groups of Wises depending on where they settled. I don't know much, nor does my husband. His father died when he was 3 and his mother didn't stay close to the family. She is a product of the Hartzog family. Also farmers who settled in this area. Not many Hartzogs left but lots of Wises!!S. Colette Wise From: trudykinsey@...Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2011 22:12:50 -0800Subject: [ ] Colette /SC I quess maybe Wise is a common name in your area. I was married for 20 yrs to a fellow from SC. Aiken actually. But he had relative Columbia. Oh I'm not being clear, again LoL.His last name was Holsonback. His step dad was Wise. Mr wise had a couple of kids, L D. Wise, I don't remember his daughters name, she would have taken husband name; all near Aiken. My mother in law is a wonderful woman. Carolyn Wise; again I don't know her maiden name. And she was a Holsonback before she was a Wise. Just checkin'.
