Hi Trudy

I was going to send this to you privately, but its info that might be useful to the group - even if I get harrassed for posting it.

Your passing out freaks me out.

No warning - your fine one second, then your waking up a few seconds later.

You dont even know its happening until its all over.

I think it has to do with ones heart stopping for a second [missing a beat or two].

You described exactly what alerted the doc to my CHF [congestive heart disease].

There is a connection between HCV [and possibly treatment] and CHF, and other heart problems too.

HCV takes a terrible toll on our bodies, and treatment takes another toll.

Whats bad is that we dont even know its happening until too late.

Heres some of what happens to me.......

- One day I was walking across the street, and lifted my leg to kick a ball back to some kids playing.

I felt fine.

I was instantly out cold, and woke up just before I hit the pavement.

I had time enough to shield my face, but I broke several ribs.

- Another time I was standing in the kitchen doing something, and just passed out.

Nothing hard or stressful - I think cooking food.

I woke up just as my jaw hit the stove, knocking out two teeth, and busting my jaw open.

- Another time I was in the grocery store shopping, pushing my cart down the isle.

Wham, I was out cold.

This time I was already on the floor when I woke up.

- Not long ago I was sitting on the end of my bed.

I reached down to tie my shoe, and woke up face down on the floor.

Now Im not saying that this is what is wrong with you.

But it freaks me out that you describe exactly what happens to me.

Awake, out cold, awake.

You might ask your doctor about this.

It is treatable.

NOTE:

There are other more common reasons a person passes out too - anemia, lack of food, etc.

CHF is not real common from what I have read, so dont freak out and think that you have it.

I just thought I would say something.

Well oncologist is alarmed about something. I didn't ask ;don't want to know ahead of time. So he tried to set up all my dr visits in one day. Well, I see Nuero on Tuesday, Gastro on 4th for viral load. Conference call Nuero & GPs Nurse on Tuesday. The past couple of days my legs have felt heavy and very fatigued, more than rest of me. Today while I was walking thru the kitchen, I passed out. Very sudden and only lasted, maybe, 2 seconds. I " came to " as I was hitting the floor, arms out streched. No I hadn't just stood up or any other trigger that I know of. What I didn't know is that a person can Completely! pass out and come to in that short of time! It made me a bit scared and cautious for a while.Oh well, tx / and after tx, makes life "interesting "!! Ya know, Tuesday will probably be a wild-goose chase. I think I get passed around all my specalist for liabilty reasons. They are

making sure they aren't at fault for not following up with any abnormalites. Let the other guy handle me!!." A well-behaved woman never made history " Mae Westhttp://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 ------------------------------------

It could be a lot of things. It could be a clogged artery also. It could be a heart attact. Not all heart attacts hurt the same for women. It could be some brain vessel problem too.
