Having gum or teeth problems doesn't seem to be on the list of sides. Yet here we are - three of us that probably can't put a whole set of teeth together. I never had to even wonder when mine went!! There was a month or a little bit more, when I seemed to constantly have to spit out another filling. That was the month after completing my 1st tx. Guest guest
Thanx DonActually, one of my main concerns was being able to get our medical system to pay for the removal. However, I went to the only dentist here that has hospital privileges, so that's where I'll be anyway. The next problem is the cost of dentures!! I have to go on a little search about that. The woman that the dentist recommended charges an awful lot. I know for certain that if I go for about a 1 hour drive or so, I could get them so much cheaper. Just don't really know because of the tweaking of them, as everything gets settled.Gloria Hi Gloria Teri is 1/2 right. HCV and Treatment both might cause bone loss and tooth decay. Guest guest
Thinking I'd have mine pulled and not replace them... Then I can walk around like granny from the Beverly Hillbillies! I am so not having these things pulled. I will keep them til they fall out on their own. Then I will deal with it. Hugs,Teri I'd love to let a few people walk a mile in my shoes but I doubt they would last more than 10 minutes. Guest guest
Teri, it's cheaper that way. No charge for extractions.I wanted to go to dentist that offers complete sedation. But he wanted $2800. for what everyone else wants $ 1000. for. Hoping I can save up the money by August. Gotta do a shout out to Gloria. Gloria, you do realize that anything ( reasonable) for breakfast is better than nothing. Your metabolism doesn't know eggs from pizza at 8:00. Save the earth...
