But there is also the HIGH IRON in shellfish that someone with Hepatitis are warned to avoid.

why? is it bad to eat on treatment? i've been eating shrimp and have been uncomfortable but never thought it was from that.

Undercooked shellfish carrys other viruses, and can give a person Hepatitis A.

These are treatable, but someone can get real real sick too.

Undercooked shellfish and seafood in general can do a whole lot more than give you Hep A.  You can get parasites from undercooked seafood.  On Sat, Mar 5, 2011 at 4:20 PM, Christ <ludichrist2000@...> wrote:

Well, luckily I do not like sushi!! Then, there is just that right timing when doing shrimp. That's when they're cooked, but not over cooked and not undercooked for sure.
