Guest guest
Liz, me again. I am having the same problem with weight--might be my age--going to turn 40 next week. And I can't exercise very well--and haven't found the time to do it. But I'm on .88 mcg synthroid and dr says no to upping it. He said that we could damage something else by putting it too high. So I guess, I'll just be chubby for the moment.......as I just finished a reese's peanut butter cup. Think that could have something to do with it...........no couldn't be. Good Luck. If you don't do the following four things, your husband will surely die.First, each morning, fix him a healthy breakfast and send him off to work in a good mood.Second, at lunch time, make him a warm, nutritious meal and put him in a good frame of mind before he goes back to work.Third, for dinner, fix an especially nice meal, and don't burden him with household chores.Fourth, and most important for invigorating him and relieving stress, have sex with him several times a week and satisfy his every whim in bed.On the way home in the car, the husband turned to his wife and asked So, I saw the doctor talking to you and he sure seemed serious. Guest guest
Oh Dear Mike, Hugs and Kisses... So sorry your doctor was seeing these spots. You came to the right spot. Not sure if you can set up a chat now, but maybe you could try. I'm on the West coast and my kids want some attention off and on, but I could join off and on. I know, get a camera, take a picture so we can discuss you too. No matter what your health problems we will all be here. I can spread my crushes around, I don't think my husband cares, and I'll include you. Bet the rest of these aggressive women have some love and hugs for you too. Guest guest
Hello Mike, I am really glad you came to your " other family " . I know what you mean about the wait. In November, I tested positive for Lymphoma, but the Doctor decided to send the sample to the Mayo Clinic for a 2nd opinion .... 3 week wait!!! THE GOOD NEWS ................. It came back BENIGN! I am putting your name in my " Prayer Vase " so you get many of the short and quick prayers sent your way. I hope your experience turns out like mine. Regardless, your A family stands with you. Guest guest
Sorry to hear the problems you are having Liz. The sweating you mention, is that all the time or several bouts during the day and night? I have developed that in late June. For no reason at all I get sweat pouring off my forehead and body it lasts for about 10 - 20 minutes then goes back to normal. I do not have to do anything like walking or odd jobs around the house to start sweating. Saw my doc last Monday about that and my sore throat and he ordered more blood tests. I see him again this Monday as my sore throat is back again and the sweats continue. Blessings to all +Dave

Guest guest
Hi Liz Welcome to the thumb of the month club. Both mine are hampered now, with the right thumb actually locking in the flexed position. It does extend if I force it, but that causes some major pain when it does extend. My left thumb is fast becomming the same way. So, I will not be hitch hiking ever again, and of course, watching how hard I hit the space key when typing. One never thinks how much work the thumb is required for until it becomes a problem. My other finger joints are also following suit which affects my typing in the mornings. I have to wait until the evening to type out emails or letters, then only after using heat with my wheat bag for a couple of sessions. 1 session = about 15 minutes. But like anything else, when God sends me lemons, I make lemonade. I just thank Him for keeping me on this earth to help others for another day. Fr. Guest guest
-What is this Thumb Club? I have big toe problems, and now it's going into all of my toes. Feels like pins stabbing into them. My feel used to be really numb on the bottoms and swollen, but not so much now, and now it's the toes. Does anyone else out there have the toe problems going on? I am going to ask my doc to xray them, but I think it is the nerves making the sharp stabbing pain. What a crazy life. I cannot help but laugh, no way I would ever thought I would be in this condition. I was an athlete forever, and was always active. Now it is impossible to catch a ball let alone run. My doc said because of being in athletic shape, is why my bones have stayed strong with all the prednisone and other steroids I have taken I really don't know what to do about the pain, and neither does my docs. One day there will be something that all of us can use or do to get this ugly illness out of our bodies. In the meantime, we can share our problems, and things that work to ease our pain.
