Guest guest
Hello All, I'm continually awed by some of the stories I read here. Particularly Don's (and others) life experiences. As part of my last blood work Dr. ordered a test for Celiac's Disease as that may have an effect on the AST/ALT #'s. He called last night...I'm now the not-so-proud owner of Celiac's Disease...a hereditary trait whose ONLY treatment is to follow a Gluten Free diet...forever. So that's my bizarre twist of fate...I know...it could be worse. Other's may want to request your Dr. to look for this in future blood tests...it is carried by 1% of the population. Guest guest
Hi Steve, A couple years ago my daughter was told she had it too. She went on the special diet and so on and in about 6 months they claimed she didn't have it and never did. So, that's my 2 cents on the subject. But, if you do have it, it can be controlled through diet right? Take care, Donna [ ] Oh btw...You have Celiac's Disease...too! Hello All,I'm continually awed by some of the stories I read here.
