TrudyMy childhood hair colour was strawberry blond. Not real red; but, not real blond either. I hated the colour - just hated it. It's was back in the olden days when you never dressed a redhead in anything except blue or green.I fooled around getting rid of my red at 19/20 and a couple of years. Then one time, I burned my scalp from the bleach that was in colouring then. My roommate was going off to my hairdresser the next day, so I asked her to ask him if he could get my hair back to the strawberry. The message I got back was, lots of women would pay hundreds to have your colour - live with it. When it grew out - I was blond.I took up a relationship with that hairdresser when I was around

33/34. Another loser, just like the others. But, he finally came up with the combination so that my hair still had some red in it. Even fooled my Grandmother one time.Anyway, sometime after I was diagnosed, I discovered that with the products that I was using, I was wasting my money. Definitely the red would not hold. So, off I go to the hairdresser and she tries with her colours. The red would not hold. Do you know how hard it is for a hairdresser to not make your hair go red??? It's hard.Well, now that I'm all done with the Hep C and my liver is feeling much better, even my hairdresser commented on my hair a week or so again. The light red is holding. However, I can also see roots and I haven't seen those for probably the last decade. One's liver disease can be the cause of many strange things, hey??Luv Gloria

I took your & Beth's advice. Cut all my hair off to nothing more than 1inch. Such a relief! Still losing hair( a lot!) but it's less of mess since hair strands so short. I quess the continued hair lose is a sign that tx meds still in my system.

And what's left of my hair is new growth. It came in a different color. I'm half Indian and it shows. But now my dark hair is light brown & gold!! I don't like it, but I know how to change that!

Wishing everyone a healthy day tomorrow Trudy
