Peanut butter and Raspberry jam....  that's the bestest.

When you are up to your ass in alligators it's hard to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp.

I remember reading about this....

There is something about Hep C and a sweet tooth.  I hardly EVER ate sweets as an adult.  Well, not in the last 20 years anyway...  I'd rather have something savory over something sweet.  But about the time my hep c was billowing into full swing I got a sweet tooth....   regular coke vs. diet coke...  ice cream...  bakery stuff.  I think it got worse after treatment.

I think my biggest sugar thing is the soda's though.

Yeah! With strawberry jam!     By the way, I never had a sweet tooth before. Couldn't drink sodas cause they're too sweet. So why now an insatiable sweet tooth? It's really bad. Any research on that Don? I know we are supposed to stay away from sugar. Wasn't ever even tempting till the past 10 months or so. Ever read anything about HepC or tx CREATING a sweet tooth?

Well I've always had a sweet tooth. These days, with appetite changes, if I can't stomach or force myself to real food, I can still manage to eat some cake or tapioca pudding or something like that.-Cynde Re: [ ] Bananas / Don

It's freakin' ridicuous ! I never ate sweets. Would go without if there was donuts on table. Even as a kid. Friends would spend their allowance on candy. Not me. Would rather have a corn dog ( go figure!) or pig in a blanket from C-store.This is why I've gained 30 pounds since last spring! And I can't seem to resist, really. If I do I will just double up later. Aww hell I double up anyway!" A well-behaved woman never made history " Mae Westhttp://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877

I find myself drifting to the bakery section at the grocery store now....  that's really bad.  I decide I want donuts in the middle of the night... thank god Dunkin Donuts is open 24 hours.....  And honesty, give me a choice between something sweet and a steak and I take the steak every time. '

Mmmmm   steak.....

I THINK I LOST MY FEET...  HAVEN'T SEEN THEM SINCE I GOT BOOBS!  LOL

Hugs,Teri

I'd love to let a few people walk a mile in my shoes but I doubt they would last more than 10 minutes.

Well I sure know that I don't care what is in my Ginger Ale!  I just have to have it.  I think that I developed that sweet tooth away back before the diagnosis.  It drove me crazy that I had gotten so fat!  Yet, changing my habits etc. did nothing for any loss.  But, I tell you, after this last tx helped me lose 30 lbs and the operation was another 10, you couldn't have found a happier person.  Now, I'm still overweight and would love to lose another 20 lbs; but, just being able to see my feet was exciting.
