Guest guest
Well now, this has me concerned. I take 200 mcg a day for hashi's. My father has diabetes so maybe I should not be doing this? you found this at Wikipedia. Do you know of any research done or any other articles related to this? One study, designed for other conditions than diabetes. We don't know what their selenium intake was outside the test administration. 2. Developing diabetes: 58 (at 200 mcg) versus 39 (taking a placebo). Not a big difference out of some 1,200 in the study. 3. This suggests you should not exceed 200 mcg per day, just to be safe. This study, like most, was designed to prove that we need more studies. Chuck
Guest guest
It had me a bit concerned too because I take 200mg a day too of selenium and have been told I have type 2 diabetes, but I think my blood sugar went up when I started HC so probably has nothing to do with the selenium, I cant get a proper diagnosis of diabetes while I take HC as this is probably giving a false picture, but it maybe that I would have developed it anyway in the future , I dont know. I found that reasearch my mistake and no havent found anything else Well now, this has me concerned. I take 200 mcg a day for hashi's. Guest guest
If anyone of my Docs had tested earlier so that I received the B12 so that my anemia would not have gotten as bad and if I had reduced the Elavil sooner, would I have been able to complete tx ? Instead ,here I am waiting for another 3 weeks to see if my viral load is still up instead of undetecable ..... Guest guest
Trudy.... what would make you think that your viral load might drop back to undetectable? But yeah, if they'd have given you the B-12 and stopped the Elavil you'd be finishing up treatment right about now... Sucks huh? Guest guest
TrudyTake it from my own experience - don't put yourself through those thoughts. When my 1st treatment didn't work, I went through all the guilt and self-doubt possible. Although I did every one of the shots, I missed some of the ribavirn. Maybe that's why the dragon mutated. Well, I've learned that instead, say to yourself - and why not?? Like why not me that got infected somehow, when drug addicts in the family through theirs off.Guess my Higher Power just had a whole lot more things for me to accomplish.Gloria If anyone of my Docs had tested earlier so that I received the B12 so that my anemia would not have gotten as bad and if I had reduced the Elavil sooner, would I have been able to complete tx ?
