Guest guest
I hope its ok to send this to another list - HepCWarriors, but it is quite interesting, I think, and wanted to share it. Any thoughts?Rod ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <Hepatitis_Children_and_CAM_Alternatives >Date: Wed, Mar 16, 2011 at 8:07 PM Subject: [Hepatitis_Children_and_CAM_Alternatives] Digest Number 652Hepatitis_Children_and_CAM_Alternatives Hepatitis Children & CAM Alternatives View All Topics | Create New Topic Messages 1a. A miracle Herbal Formula for my Hep C Hello everybody, I only posted very few messages here, but have profited a lot from reading posts. Anyway, I felt obliged to share what happened to me 5 months ago. I have my hep C pretty much under control through diet and some life style measures like sun bathing, sleeping enough hours, exercising, stress avoidance, etc. Have not done and will not do biopsy and interferon. I will do a Fibroscan though. Never take drugs and seldom take supplements or herbs. My tongue is pink, my complexion tanned and healthy and my energy levels are high; I feel very well for years now. All my labs test fine although I could have more platelets (my count is 170.000). Except that about an year and a half ago my viral count sky rocketed to 8 million, when I had been bingeing on some foods for a while. I never got too concerned about viral counts because firstly the PCR is a very doubtful exam and secondly fibrosis is the only real worrying factor to watch out for. Nevertheless, an 8 million count is at least uncomfortable. Some 8 months ago I entered a Curezone forum named The Truth in Medicine which is owned by Hveragerthi aka Sloane, who, among other things, is one of the few knowledgeable herbalists I know. Based on some anecdotal evidences I decided to take his Live-R-ight herbal formula, a potent liver detox, for two months as he instructed me to do. I had strong detox reactions and had to adjust dosage in the beginning: instead of having it 3 times daily I had to start with one every 2 days and build up. I did it for 2 months. Five months ago I went for my routine labs and also had a PCR. To my amazement it had gone down to 500 thousand!!! That´s indeed amazing since NOTHING except LDN has been reported to lower viral counts. Even LDN has it´s drawbacks and hasn´t been researched fully for long term sustained results. This formula hasn´t either but it is NOT a drug, and I will be testing it further. Next April I shall be doing my labs again and will include another PCR to check what happened and will gladly report here. His formula has also been reported to do wonders for advanced ascites from cirrhosis due to Hep C. For those of you who want to check it out, he explains the formula in his site www.mountainmistbotanicals.com Anyway, I now have finally shared this with you. I was owing this to myself and you. Thanks for the wonderful job you all do. Best wishes, Clarita Hi Very interesting post, I lead a similar lifestyle – without the sunshine unfortunately, I’m in the UK! The only point I would take issue with is that nothing can substantially lower viral load except LDN. My viral load was consistently between 1.5M and 3M, had been for years and years. Last Summer (2010) I had a flare up which saw my liver enzymes sky rocket, but which didn’t do much to my viral load. As a result I went on a vegetarian diet and started taking ALA, Milk Thistle and Selenium – the ‘Berkson Protocol’. My latest blood tests show my viral load has dropped to 300K and stayed there, which is lower than it’s ever been. Although viral load is a notoriously poor indicator of anything this does suggest the virus doesn’t do so well when denied animal fat and is bombarded with anti oxidants. So my personal experience is that diet and supplements can dramatically reduce viral load – this is not a criticism of the original post, merely an observation.
