thank you so much for your help. My name is casey. So I just want to make sure I

understand. I am definitely not doing fruits because of the fructose, but do

you believe the Peels themselves contain fructose? I love your home calcium and

would love to make as many home made vitamins I can. I am not a big fan of

processing involved supplementation. So I have read wonderful things about

people using the peels from lemons limes and oranges as C. So I should stay away

from the peel because the peel contains fructose? Sorry for the trouble. I will

keep you update on my progress!

God Bless!

I understand. I am definitely not doing fruits because of the fructose, but do

you believe the Peels themselves contain fructose?

+++Hi Casey. Welcome! Yes, of course the peels also contain fructose.

>>>I love your home calcium and would love to make as many home made vitamins I

can. I am not a big fan of processing involved supplementation.

+++All of the supplements I recommend are very good, since many people on this

program are improving because of my diet plus supplements which you can read

about in the Success Stories on my website.

>>> So I have read wonderful things about people using the peels from lemons

limes and oranges as C. So I should stay away from the peel because the peel

contains fructose? Sorry for the trouble. I will keep you update on my

progress!

+++Yes, you need to stay away from peels too, except for small amounts of lemon

and lime juice only. Also be cautious about having lemon and lime juice since

many people cannot tolerate them when they start on this program. It is better

to wait at least 2 months.

+++Also there is more vitamin C in broccoli, peppers, and other vegetables than

in any fruits, except for Acerola cherries. Also meats and eggs contain vitamin

C, but nutritional calculators and tables are very incomplete, like they don't

want people to have them. There's so many things like that going on.

+++All carbs (plant foods), including vegetables, spices, herbs, grains, nuts,

seeds, etc. all change into glucose in the body and the more glucose you have

the more vitamin C you'll need. Once your body changes over from running on

good fats instead of carbs/glucose on this program your need for vitamin C

decreases.

All the best, Bee

I even do it with my family. Did it to my husband just last night. I'm getting really good at it too! It's frustrating, especially when I don't have anything to blame it on. The only thing I take are thyroid and pee pee pills. Can't drink, can't smoke, so what the heck? I have a notebook in every room and with me everywhere I go. Such a nerd, I know, but I actually get worried when I can't find a specific one. (They all have a different use.)What a crutch!! LOL!S. Hi Sherry

Glad to see you made it from FaceBook.

Welcome to the Warriors group.

We will try to help you with support and information.

Please try to relax Sherry - there is hope.

You may have trouble doing treatment because it is hard on some folks, and from what you say about your health.

But dont rely on my word - I am not a medical professional - I am a hippy musician. LOL :-)

You need to get in to see a HEPTOLOGIST, and find out what they think.

Something that you can do right now at home to help slow down the HCV damage is eat a liver friendly diet.

There are also some liver boosting suppliments you can take.

If you smoke tobacco, use street drugs, or drink alcohol - STOP NOW - and dont look back.

Click on LINKS on any group page to see what I have in the HCV Links Library, or click on this link -

http://health.dir./group/ /links

I am in the process of doing this same protocal, and I think it has been helping me.

I know it isnt a cure, but that is ok if it extends the life of my liver, and slows down the dragon until I can treat and cure.

I have heart and mental issues also, so treatment for me is a question mark.

The good news is that there is a bunch of new medical treatments in the pipeline.

Vaccines, Protease Inhibitors, mono-therapy, and all sorts of stuff.

Hopefully it wont be too long before they are being used in the doctors office.

There are also clinical trials your doctor might help you join.

Im glad your children are negative.

I cant imagine anything worse than finding out our children are sick.

So get into the liver specialist, get some labs or whatever, ask questions, and start finding answers so you can make plans for your future.

Dont just sit around and live in fear - that isnt living.

Have you had a liver biopsy recently?

If not, you may want to think about that - it can answer a lot of questions right away about the status of your liver.

Keep talking to us Sherry, joining coversations or asking questions.

We mostly all share with one another so we can learn.

We will be more than happy to try to help you too.

love

Thanks Teri! I've been looking for a place to educate me and my family on this

disease.I've had a biopsy bout 5yrs ago.at that point my load was in the

millions! The results were, a little old and a little new damage, they did not

recommend treatment at that time. The dr said that I should wait til a new

treatment with less side effects comes along.I've just been so sick lately and

have missed a lot of work cuz of it.At times my complexion looks gray(that

scares me also) never yellow yet.I try to stay positive and and use a lot of

common sense about what goes into my body.I have been in 2 relationships that

they were both positive HVC. my question is if having sexual contact with

another can a person pick up a different genotype of hvc and would it make mine

more severe?

I made it Don it was quite a trip here from fbook..glad I made it tho' had a

biopsy bout 5 yrs ago and have an ultrasound scheduled for the 24th.From there

on to the liver clinic.I don't think I could have lived with myself if I had

passed this dragon to the girls. God was lookin out. I am an ex IV drug

user, alcoholic, etc. In a small town wasn't much else to do I thought back then. I

do drink a lot of Mt.dew and I'm prolly safe sayin that its not a good thing and

I smoke not even a pack a day.I gave up so much already, thats my justification.

I already feel welcome on this site and have passed the link on to some of my

fellow hep friends here. there is a lot of info here. you have spent a lot of

time helping others, its quite obvious, and hopefully in time I can too! Thanks

again!

No worries! There is NO such thing as multi-tasking. If you think about the true meaning of this stupid phrase, the one we all feel we must use on our resume, it makes no sense! Think about every day things we do and tell me you can multi-task. If you can, you're gonna be a gajillionaire teaching others how to do it! I'm all for that! I'll be your marketing consultant!!! Hmmmmm, we might be on to something.S. Colette Wise

Hi The doctor is trying to switch me from zoloft to elavil but i felt awful on the elavil. I am very afraid. I'm sorry to hear about your son. I know zoloft can make life feel unreal, that there are no consequences to your actions. I'm sorry. Kel

I have never taken any of these medications but lost a son due to the horrific side effects they cause in some people. My concern for you is that most people, and many doctors, have no clue how to properly withdraw from these medications, which causes another set of potentially life-threatening reactions. I have a terrible time remembering the name of Creel's group but hope that she or another member chimes in and provides you with contact information for her recovery group. You can do this but rarely can anyone do it on their own. Is your doctor leading your efforts to withdraw? Terry
